I want a video now. His voice...
Also, do you think he's bald under that hood?
Ask and you shall receive two.
And I do believe that all the sentinels are bald.

Same, although that means I have to go out of my way to avoid the one I´m not romancing
Only reason my elf Cullenmancer is not with Solas is because I refuse to let her talk to Solas. And she got all the way to "fade tongue" too, i couldn't resist.

Haha I keep running around with Solas as a human hoping he will see the error of his non-human loving ways.

I chose Rift Mage specifically for Solas-dialogue and didn't get anything. The actual specialization is a bit boring after going Necromancer.
I actually love the spec. I did KE first, but it's so OP. Rift Mage is amazing for CC.
"Oh no, is my poor Dorian and Solas being hounded by swords?"
*uses the power of a god to pull the enemies off and then plops down a raging inferno on their heads and then puts them in a static cage to prevent their escape*
Side note: My Lavellan is relishing her new found power and I like to think that Solas is secretly terrified at what she has become.

I love the Cullen romance just as much as the Solas romance, but for totally different characters/reasons.
I like Solas, Cullen and Cass romances for how well imbeded in the story they are. They got stakes in the world and play independant roles.
It helps me get those 50 hours of play done properly.
I would have liked to make something sensible for Bull too but my Qunari fells so out of place I cant keep playing >.<

Meh, I can't get behind Abelas when there's Solas. I mean, it's hard to get attach to a character when you know almost nothing about him.

I feel like I'm the only one disappointed in the jumping in DA:I because it's next to useless. The jumping puzzles in GW2 were one of my favorite things about it (I remember my guild actually wanted to put me in charge of monthly jumping puzzle runs to help everyone get the achievements), and I did nothing if not attempt to jump up the side of every mountain in Skyrim. lol
Okay, I kinda take it back about jumping being next to useless. It has its moments. Like when I jump on Solas's head after talking to Leliana. XD
I'm with you. I like the jumping but I hate the jumping puzzles. They keep reminding me of a poorly implemented versions from Assassin's Creed Black Flag with the controls and terrain not optimized well enough to support them. Between that and the slipping mechanics, they can be really frustrating. When a game is reminding me of something I'd rather be doing in a different one then it has a problem.
I like the Sera on the roof one, especially since you can do repeat performances.
This is my favorite companion moment, I like to imagine Bull takes Lavellan to get smashed after the breakup.

nope.
Actually i find it easier that way to explain why Lavellan is not calling him out on his Fade excuses for everything. Or not realizing the first romance scene is in the Fade. Or not knowing things about Elvhen as much as him and Morrigan in the Temple (since you were never groomed to be the next keeper or anything).
In one word, it explains her naivity well.
Thank you! That helps! Also what would be your typical dalish attitude towards Solas's fade adventures and making friends with spirits? I assumed the dalish reaction would be more open minded since they are all about preserving memories and that's what Solas is essentially doing. But would most be like "sure, spirit friendships are cool!" though?

Try jumping while mounted on a horse. It works a lot better and is funny to see you and horse rolling down mountains
NO BUT I JUMPED DOWN A MOUNTAIN ONCE WITH MY HORSE AND I FELT HORRIBLE.
The horse did like... this animation where its legs were splayed out underneath it and it made this horrible "WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME" noise and I was like "OoooOOOH MY GOD I'm so sorry! I am never doing this to you again! I'M SORRY!"

Do you guys ever run without a rogue? I have been doing that a lot lately- two Mage two warriors or three Mage one warrior party. Besides being annoyed by locked doors I really enjoy it.
Right now I'm trying to decide between rift Mage and KE- people seem to like them both?

I'm a coward, but I totally can't complete Solas' quest by actually killing the demon. I can't do it to him! I really want to see the dialogue, though. Anyone got a video, maybe? [edit: nvm, found it, yay. - hopefully it got everything]

Watch Abelas be a companion in DA4. Plus, LI. Daydreams and wishes for a game that won't come out for years.
U telling me ? I've been here on DA forums begging for a DA3 since 2012 ![]()

I would love the jumping in this jump if the mechanics were better. It's too sensitive and you slip off if you go to tactical cam.

KE gets to be too easy at times. If you enjoy challenge go Rift Mage

Granted, but he certainly is pretty. ![]()
And I wonder if Uthenera causes baldness now.
It's pretty much death (without actual death, of course).

If you never want to die or ever take damage pretty much no matter what (unless a sneaky templar gets you) then run a KE. Also shiny light saber magic sword.
If you want to make enemies move where you want them to and do massive aoe damage, then do RM.
Honestly, they are both fun I recommend them wholeheartedly. I'm leaning towards RM, because it requires a bit more finesse and thought.
I need to do a necromancer playthrough though.

Spam "Disengage" (L) and "Attack My Target" (Y) and only hit the rock formations. You can unequip your companions weapons too (during the fight) so they barely hit the demon if you miss one "disengage", the demon won't hit you if you only aim for the rocks

BTW, this cheered my Lavellan up after the heartbreak. Sera rocks sometimes!

As a not-mage-Dalish my Lavellan thinks Solas knows what he is doing. She defers alot, like if he was her proxi-Keeper in her strange human adventure.
And she believes spirits are natural. Shes not open on blood magic (because lets not push the envelop) but she graps the idea that spirits can be 'tamed' or made 'ferocious' by the way you interact with them, you just have to know what youre doing.
And for the old memories, she is enthousiast because potential Elvhen knowledge without putting clans in danger is just marvelous, is it not ?
