I could never do that, I'm weak. I can't do a playthrough where he hates my guts as interesting as that might be!

I love how 99% of the fanfiction that has sex in it shows Solas as being possesive/dominant
But honestly, that's kinda what I imagined as well
Makes me wonder if the love scene that got removed because it was too "rapey" was Solas after all

Yeah, it might end up as a good thing that he left.  How could the Inquisitor ever stand up to him?  Especially if he ever told her the truth.

I honestly can't really imagine a scenario where Solas isn't dominant.  Even in conversation he is always in control.

I don't know about that. Lavellan's early flirting is able to get him a bit flustered. And then there's how off-balance he was after the first kiss scene ("It's...been a long time"). And him freaking out when Blackwall teases him about potentially banging spirits. I think he's usually very in control of himself, but when it comes to matters of the heart he's a bit more shaky. He strikes me as being very repressed.

 

So honestly, I can totally see it going both ways. I don't think anybody's written it yet, but I'd love to see a fic where Solas, erm, tops from the bottom, so to speak. Subtle rather than overt dominance. Because Solas is a subtle guy.

 

Also, none of the romance scenes were cut. There was a tumblr blog post about D Gaider saying how valuable female insight on the team is because one of the writers wrote something that came across as rape-y when they didn't intend it to be and another member of the team pointed it out to them.

I actually love the spec.  I did KE first, but it's so OP.  Rift Mage is amazing for CC.

Side note:  My Lavellan is relishing her new found power and I like to think that Solas is secretly terrified at what she has become.

 

Rift mage is awesome for spamming spells. If you take passives for reducing your cooldowns, and wear accessories that reduce cooldowns, if you use stone fist on cooldown, you will pretty much never run out of mana and can almost constantly spam abilities.

I like it all.  Personally my favorite is a combination of heavy dialogue and story development with a splash of smut or fluff.

 

However at this point I just need more Solas.
