Can anyone provide a map showing the location of the third romance scene in Crestwood?

 

I have no map, but it's where you fight the wyvern I think?

I need to find the time to go to the shrine of sylaise and get these robes. I keep seeing screenshots, and Solas looks so regal in them.

 

 

And you can even see a  sliver of bare chest. 

 

 

It's really weird seeing him in anything other than hobo gear, though. I imagine Viv and Dorian being utterly flabbergasted the first time they see him in this stuff. Perhaps this is similar to the clothing he wore back in ancient Arlathan.

 

Actually its just what male Keepers wore. The Keeper in the Dalish clan in the exalted plains wears the same outfit. But I've basically had Solas wearing this for half the game.

 

He's actually now wearing my failed attempt at masterworking version, which has ridiculously high stats. Shame he's gonna run off with it, but no one else in my party can wear it.

 

I should try and get a screenshot of my Solas and Lavellan wearing them together, they're so matchy matchy.

I don't know why but when I saw Sola's Tarot card I instantly thought Prometheus due to him having a flame. Now that I beat the game I can kinda see some similarities between both. Fen harel was accepted by 2 sets of gods, kinda same with Prometheus (is a titan but helped olympic gods)

 

Both bring forbidden knowledge to "mortals" funny thing: Sola's taught me veilfire in a quest at the hinterlands helping a Dalish mage

The flame in the Hermit tarot card is a beacon of knowledge - knowledge that illuminates.

Yeah, I imagine this to be the ancient Solas look, but I just effing love his hobo look so much..all of my Solas' are in his iconic gear now.  Hobo look is down to earth and cosy..I like that lol.

Yup. On a female inquisitor it looks like the armor merrill wears when romanced. That chainmail keeper outfit.

It's funny reading how Solas ditching at the end gutted some people, whilst for me (who romanced Iron Bull first) as soon as I saw the reveal I could not start up a new game fast enough.  I love this romance - so much open-ended potential for fanfics, even if we never get any additional content (which we will).

 

I've played my fElf playthrough up until the Arbor Wilds mission but I've been debating whether to proceed towards the end or wait until a patch to see if they fix his quest.  I'm down for trying a Cullen 'mance and I will definitely do Dorian, but Solas has blown all competition out of the water as far as my preferred options go.  It's probably a good thing that he's elf-only as it makes it easier to avoid getting sucked back in, haha.

 

 

I was like that. My first character was a male elf rogue who romanced Dorian (I aimed for the Iron Bull, but I was unable to get dialogue from him and Dorian is just...well...Dorian). As soon as I finished the game, I ran to the forums. Then went through like four different potential characters before realizing that the reason I couldn't commit to any of them was that I wanted, nay, NEEDED to romance Solas.

Just happened to me ingame while exploring dwarven ruins in the desert:

Solas: "You must be....*sniffs the air* ....strange.....the trees, perhaps?"

Am I the only one that thinks Solas is 100% more beautiful when you actually see him move? There exist characters in video games that only look great in screenshots or artwork, and then there are those that look quite weird in some artworks and screenshots, but they are just so darn beautiful when you can see their animations. I think Solas is one of the latter, to be honest.

The schematic drops off the last dragon in Emprise du Lion. It's a level 23 fire dragon.

I like to imagine Solas going that extra troll mile and leaving with their mount (because of course they shared a mount on their Super Romantic Date).  For some reason the image of him prancing away with his man-pain and leaving Lavellan to walk back on foot makes it more amusing to me.

I think the general consensus is to disregard anything Solas says as far as the Well of Sorrows goes. It seems like there wasn't a good link up between writers, so you get conflicting comments from him. [IE; Claiming to have begged you not to drink from it, when he actually seemed to encourage you, ect.]

He just does that no matter what decision you make, call it game weirdness. I guess he could be talking about Morrigan saying she'll use it in your service, if you wanted a reason that almost makes sense.
