Hmm, yeah that is certainly a possibility, but I am still unsure and now more confused that before
Hehe. It's confusing lore. XD

**** you can see him on the verge of tears. You can just FEEL his heartbreak, not just your Inquisitor's. MY FEELS!
It is an interesting possibility, but now that I think about it what if the Old Gods of the Imperium are in fact the Forgotten Ones? Maybe
Spoiler
I think it is interesting to note that the same constellation that is associated with Dumat, Old God of Silence and "leader" of the old god pantheon, is the same constellation associated with Mythal. Dumat was also supposedly the first Archdemon.
Edit: Speculated to be associated with Mythal, sorry.
Can you imagine Dorian, Iron Bull, and Cassandra being super protective of Lavellan? Bull would get her out of the castle and drink with her, Dorian would have her continue studying and offering a shoulder, and Cassandra would loan her...like...every romance novel she owns so she can see happy endings and cry. And Cole would be that sweet younger brother offering explanations, solutions, and encouragement - and maybe even taking her out like she did for him.
D'awww my little pixel family.
In regards to Cole, I like to think that after returning from the break-up he would be able to sense Lavellan for the first time (AKA her despair calls to his spirit of compassion) and it freaks him out. I imagine he runs to Solas screaming something along the lines of "You made me hear her! You broke her heart and made her need me!".
I make myself sad at times.

Bah, this song just gave me all the feels...

Ooooh, I like this! Part of me wants to know that Solas carries guilt over our elf, maybe because he still loves her, etc. And then to have Cole be an additional guilt-trip or reminder-YES!

I love how we delight in their pain, and yet suffer it as well.

brb, writing fic of everyone waiting in a line outside Solas' study to harass him after the breakup.
Saying "I'm sorry" gets something like "It's not your fault."
Edit: Looked it up, he says, "It is not your fault." So I was right, except for the contraction.
Is there a video or something with the options? I'd love to hear his reaction to "But Corypheusis dead"
Ugh, I cannot get over the female elf card. The body positioning and art style is amazing. She seems wild and fierce and powerful, so incredibly powerful. Which is interesting to note that the Heirophant card seems to be lacking that power that Solas typically oozes with. Even the white wolf is looking away from him and is diminished. Though he does seem to showing control and restraint in the image. I might be reading too much into it, BUT SURELY THAT HAS TO BE A GOOD THING?!
*sobs*
Dorian, hold me and tell me that I'm pretty.

The mark is the key to his heart lolzzz.

I'm sure there's a video of it out there somewhere but I haven't encountered it. I have screencaps of my choice, which was "I'm sorry" obviously but that's the best I can do.
I think I just really like the line "wake up and dream once more" for Solas.
Question, in your head canon, does Solas watch Lavellan's dreams after they break up ?
In mine he does, disguised as something in the dream.
Yes. Tho I head cannon it as her not knowing if she's dreaming of him or if he's in her dreams.

Must be some sort of psychological sadomasochism we all share... But in case any Devs are reading this, we would ALL love to get a happy fluffy ending for Solas and our Lavellan.

If you don't pick the romance dialogue, Solas says something about how the Anchor gives you the ability to dream with more clarity than normal people. My Lavellan's not a mage, but even normal people IRL can teach themselves to lucid dream. As soon as Solas leaves, in my headcanon she trains herself to be lucid while she's in the Fade. She still has no control over her dreams, but she's at least aware that she's dreaming. Sure Solas can disguise himself, but I imagine it's a lot riskier when the person you're trying to watch is aware.
I headcanoned that since he's unable to guard her himself anymore, he sends a few spirit buddies to look out for her in the Fade ![]()
He is like Castiel from Supernatural. The sweetest guy with great intentions and manages to **** everything up massively, often
He reminds me a bit of Dumbledore's line in Harry Potter. Being rather cleverer than most men, his mistakes are correspondingly huger.
I don't think my Lavellan went to cry on anyone's shoulder. I consider her to be fairly private, even though she did make friends with most of her companions. I have this idea it was awhile before anyone noticed that she and Solas were even a thing, and then the same about them no longer being together. Just enough ambiguity to keep them confused, which would make them hesitant to intrude. Just as she would want it.
Some pain is bittersweet, and as such is a pain we wish to keep and respect for what it is. For her, it's far too sensitive and complex to get drunk and cry about.
Me, on the other hand... I teared up, because it was just so beautiful. All of it. How so much feeling and emotion can be put into such little content and so few words... it's just amazing.
