Sera can't be a half elf and still be an elf, unfortunately. She'd just be a human. Human blood erases all other blood.
Is that a fact?

Most of the Elves in Inquisition just look horribly narrow--not just small, but NARROW. I tend to ignore this as much as possible, but it's so hard to when you don't have armor on. >.<
@vertigomez - Haha, to be honest, I'd have a harder time romancing Solas if he was as narrow as most of the elves in Inquisition. As much as I appreciate his mind and his way of looking at everything, and the way he talks, that narrowness would definitely be put into question (I guess you can call me narrow-minded-badum tss!). Besides, I think it adds to his stately persona.
I totally get where you're coming from. It's less obvious while wearing armor, but in your fabulous camouflage outfit it's really noticeable.

3/4th breed should genetically result in more elf looking.
Well, I certainly see Solas as an alpha. First scene with him and he's all "just do this already"
Is it sad that this gif makes me swoon. It was the first time they touched!

Das a fack, Jack. Just look at Alistair.
Though Feynriel did look a bit elfy, he still looked like a human.

Genetics don't have to work the same in Dragon Age as they do in the real world. Human genes are dominant. http://dragonage.wik...iki/Elf-blooded

Wasn't Zevran a mix breed. I know his mother was dalish, but did we know what his father was?
Just curious, how many of y'all headcanon Solas as dominant? I don't really, especially considering how forward Levellan is in their flirts. I think he would be passionate, yes, but not necessarily dominate. I'm biased...
I can see him being dominant at times, certainly, but definitely more passionate than anything. I like to think when my Lavellan flirts with him, while she's doing it for fun and to see him squirm, she has no idea about the can of worms she's cracking open. ![]()

Zevran's father was a city elf.
Aside from all mentions in game and in lore, Mark Darrah confirmed this again in the Raptr Q&A:
Q: Ok so dragon age 1 was my favorite out of the 2 games. I liked the fighting stile better on da2. Ive beaten the first game with every charicter type. My fav was my dalish elf named turrin. In one of the endings i chose to breed my elf with morgan. Will their sons look half elf? And are you planning on bringing back race for charicter selection in the future games? Because honestley that was my favorite thing about dao
A: There are no half elves in DA. The Human side always dominates the appearance. Hence Alistair (MD)

Pfft. Trusting Wiki. ![]()

He's fully elf, according to http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Zevran
ETA: Yeah, trusting it, it's the only way we can get info unless we go back into the game or hunt down ancient dev comments >.<

Lol. I'm still not trusting Wiki for this. Wonder who we have to tweet to solve this question. ![]()
His mother married an elf, but given that she was sold into prostitution... who knows if that guy was his father.
He does say that his father was an elven woodcutter. "Oldest tale in the book." I've done his romance so many times that I can almost quote it word for word. ![]()
Nah, Zevran wasn't a mixbreed. He wouldn't have been an elf if he was.
The fact that elf blood is completely erased is a plot point that comes up from time to time. And perhaps is one of the reasons there's so much racial tension between elves and humans. Humans have the capacity to completely wipe out elves from existence if they ever completely assimilated with one another. Which means elves will always have some level of resentment, while humans get the psychological superiority of thinking they are the 'master' race.
Sera is curvier and taller than my female Lavellan who looks like terribly waifish next to her. I just pretend my Lavellan is an Elfquest elf.

Hush you. >.>

His back looks manly. Sigh, Solas is too hot.

Oh he's definitely an alpha, but I don't think he's "dominant" (I guess by dominant I also mean possessive) Like, he's dominant, but he doesn't need to do much to prove that he is, because he knows he is and that is that. Mmmfff.
Gah, Stop it guys. Stop using logic on me.

Nah, possessive would imply that Solas thinks Quizzy would stray. We all know that isn't happening.
Feynriel had Elven features, though... *shrugs*

Yeah, he sneers at Corypheus. "A real god doesn't need to prove himself to the world," or whatever he says.
