Removing veil theory seems more plausible than the releasing elven gods theory.

One would go along with the other, I should think. With the Veil gone, there's nothing to hold the elven gods back.

Well I was assuming that the gods are in the eluvian world which is slightly different from the fade world, but yeah, it's all connected.

The only thing I can think in this scene is how cold his poor feet must be. It's so distracting. 

 

It's really hard for me to cope with the whole "YOU GUYS MUST BE FREEZING" element of this game. It starts in Haven, then they move to the middle of the effing FROSTBACK Mountains, and no one's going around with earmuffs and gloves and scarves? Like literally Cullen is the only person in the entire Inquisition dressed appropriately, with Leliana a close second.

 

I don't want my Inquisition getting frostbite, that's detrimental to how well we can fight Cory! Put on some freaking clothes everyone! And the Inquisitor keeps their bedroom window-door things open all the time. I feel bad for whoever has to refill the fireplace that is in the middle of two open window-doors. Maybe everyone is just running around with runny noses. /rant

They may be in the frostbacks, but inside skyhold's walls it looks like early autumn.   It's weeeird. Where's all the snow?

Lol and Solas is running around in the snow with foot wraps. Um... yeah Solas, unless you've developed the Tolkien ability to walk on snow, I forsee frostbite in your future.

Hi all!  My apologies if this has been asked before, but I noticed that in the Solas romance, there is a follow-up dialogue at Skyhold after the break-up scene.  I didn't get this in my playthrough; is it a bug or do only certain dialogue options during the scene make it available?

Hi all!  My apologies if this has been asked before, but I noticed that in the Solas romance, there is a follow-up dialogue at Skyhold after the break-up scene.  I didn't get this in my playthrough; is it a bug or do only certain dialogue options during the scene make it available?

When I tried angry then sad option I never got the post break up dialogue. Almost all the others have it though.

I'm not seeing how Solas saying "wouldn't a veil-less world be SWELL" means that's what he probably wants to create? He really only mentions how great (and dangerous) he thinks having a merged world would be the one time. If he brought it up more, then I'd probably give it more credence.

I picked sad then angry and Cole seemed to bug out on me. There were others I couldn't talk to, as well. It sucked. It definitely seemed to be a bug for me, though, because no matter where I went in Skyhold after entering the Tavern the bard's song was playing in subtitles.

She doesn't trust shem despite her clan's tolerance of humans so she acts fierce and hostile around the advisors in the beginning. She acts like cuddly kitten around Solas though .I know what awaits but hot damn I'm loving the flirts already.

Hmm, maybe he does that and then realize that in addition to changing everyone else, he also changed Lavellan and she is no longer the same person he fell in love with. Now he has to go correct his mistakes again. *facepalm*

It is an interesting possibility, but now that I think about it what if the Old Gods of the Imperium are in fact the Forgotten Ones? Maybe

they somehow tricked the Creators, which would explain why Flemeth speaks about avenging Mythal, and then betrayed them and once that was done presented themselves to the people of Tevinter as the true gods? Though that would put in question why Flemeth would want the soul of Urthemiel and Solas's role in all of this

Corypheus and his crew picked up blood magic from the Forgotten Ones when they entered the Black City.  There are some pretty heavy hints that the Golden/Black city in the Fade is Arlathan- thrown into the Fade wholesale and Veil-sealed by everyone's favorite wolf, with the leadership of both sides of the elvish civil war inside it.  (I'm paraphrasing because my memory is terrible, but Solas expressly describes Arlathan as a place where conflicts spanning thousands of years are mediated.  Not a coincidence, I think.)  

 

So.  In the city: the full Dalish pantheon of elven "gods", the Forgotten Ones, and who knows how many innocent random ancient Elvhen.  Guess which Cory runs into first.  =w=;
