So....who let Solas kill the mages on his personal quest? I did!
 
Because I got tired of telling my companions what to do all the time. They can make their own choices, damnit!

 

I let him kill them.
As terrible as it is I figured we killed enough irresponsible mages in this game, what's a few more?

 

No but really, spirits are just as important as people in Solas' mind, and I cannot really disagree with him on that. Even though it was simply because they were super ignorant, those mages still basically tortured and murdered one of his only friends.

Also, I was still emulating my crazy Hawke to an extant in this game: "killing people and saving people is what I'm good at."

Hmm.  Which Disney song would you guys pick for Solas and Lavellan, knowing what you know now about their relationship?

My boyfriend sat there watching me sob "Oh you bastards nope nope nope nope."  And he was very gallant and did his best not to laugh at my feelz.  I was spoiled for some stuff for DA:I (Corypheus being the big bad, Solas having no endgame files) so that decision hit like a train car.

My fiance had to hold me for quite a while after I finished inquisition. He is rather upset with Bioware for making me cry so much and keeps suggesting silly things like "Well I could always write a scathing letter". He's so adorkable. He's also not certain why I'd romance someone with so little hair, considering he has more hair on his chest or on his chin than Solas has on his entire body.

I feel like the worst Alistairmancer ever for killing him there and it's not even as if he liked my Warden in that import. (it's turns that making him do the Dark Ritual when you're not in a romance is something he's not keen on 10 years down the line...)

was this a male warden import? I'd figure if you could have took one for the team he'd be upset but if you don't exactly have the right junk to do so well... I mean that should be forgivable.

D'awwwwwww.  I think my boyfriend's just glad I'm not romancing someone who looks like him in this Dragon Age.  He has the same hair and eye color as Anders, and the same scruff.  So he was a little wigged out by that.  Thankfully, he's much, much more stable than Anders.

FemWarden.  I'd normally use that Warden with Alistair but I like Leliana's romance almost as much as Alistair's and was curious if Leliana had any dialouge about her with Cullen.

also that makes it even more suspicious. OGB pointing out that you have old blood because he has a god soul? creepy.

Kieran is either an OGB, a normal human/elf-blooded/dwarf-blooded child, or doesn't exist at all, depending on your choices. With my Solavellan playthrough, my Warden was a male Dalish elf who refused to do the dark ritual even though he loved Morrigan, which means Kieran is a regular elf-blooded child. I remember picking the "It's my ears that gave me away, isn't it?" choice, and he just giggled all cutely about it and agreed with me. No creepy comment about ancient/old blood or anything.

 

Speaking of Morrigan having a normal child with the Warden, this is the conversation she and Alistair (if he's a Warden in your world state) have regarding Kieran:

Morrigan: His name is Kieran.

Alistair: Kieran? Nice name. I think he would have approved.

I did let them get killed. I was just furious how dumb they were and tortured a spirit for some menial task. After releasing her they still showed no remorse but are like meh..Derp It was in the book.
This kind of stunt would have lead them to be tranquils if the circle of magi was still intact.

I've heard Disney is one of the worst places to work.  Disneyland, not the producing side. . . We're talking Disneyland?

 

Disneyland, in Anaheim. 

 

And it wasn't bad, actually. The job is like anything else- it's all in how you approach it. I had an amazing year during my internship at Disney- I had a ton of fun, met awesome people, and lived the magic. There is nothing better than making people who have saved up literally sometimes years for this vacation a little happier. It really was a magical place and it will always be very, very special to me.

 

There were, however, some people in the program who hated it. They didn't like the rules, regulations. Also some people just can't stand other people being happy.

 

It's not for everyone, but I drank the kool-aid and survived.

Hurk off topic a bit, but I wanted to do another run through on as hard as I can with a solas romance and actually finish it XD. But the character creator isn't working right now >.> it won't let me add any scars to her face. Sigh, and I got her looking just right too and im worried I won't get her to look right if I try later XD. Suppose I'll bite the bullet and just make her as is and head canon she has a few scars.

Wait, when does that happen?  I had a Warden Alistair, and Kieran was my Warden's son, and I don't remember Morrigan and Alistair speaking together at all.

Did you adjust the boldness?  And sometimes scars run off the side of the face so you cant see them.

Definitely one of my favourite characters. He is cool, level headed, reasonable and largely on top of his issues, which are far greater than any of those shmucks you have to play warrior therapist for.
