I think we'll see more Solas relationship stuff up coming, as the consequences come into play. Their relationship really didn't really 'begin' until it ended. Also, wasn't the romance going to be pulled, but they didn't because people already expected it? Or maybe that's backwards. Either way! It'll get better, I think, so no harm in hoping.

And until Bioware says otherwise I choose to believe that the Solas romance actually did get the same attention as all the others, they just had to put the rest of his romance content in DLC/Expansion/Inquisition 2.

Okay, thanks! I remember hearing something to that effect, but I otherwise tried to avoid all I could pre-release. Maybe it was something about adding it because it was accidentally confirmed he would be an option? I remember it being something peculiar like that, in any case. 

 

Edit: Regardless, I'm glad it was added because I found it most unexpectedly satisfying.

Personally I think Solas' romance was a bit of an after thought for Bioware, and now they're all sitting there going 'Ohhhh damn we really didn't expect him to be half as popular as he's ended up becoming...'

I get very sad when I think about what the romance options for F!Lavellan would have been like without the extra development time: no Solas OR Cullen. Ugh.

I must know all the things. I can't help it. Natural curiousity. Then the game has something awful and judgemental sounding come out of Lavellan's mouth about Krem. And I was just like. "NOOOO. I DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY THAT. I TAKE IT BACK!"   It was weird because it didn't look like a judgemental line at first. But the thing that came out of her mouth was so rude.

Oooh, I know what line you're talking about now! Yeah, if you say it and you're a qunari, Bull will tell you to stop being so judgmental because "you and I have to walk carefully so we don't break the furniture... or the elves."

I wasn't suggesting that they do something obnoxious about it. But tasteful mentions of the romance would be nice.

 

 

Eh. Everyone has their own feelings on the matter. I'm going to go back to studying before I get jumped again for saying that I would like more Solas interaction. Because with the small amount of romance content he has, it feels like there should be more, either in banter or actual dialogue.

We would all like more Solas. Heck infinite ammount of Solas sounds good enough

I would have liked more romance content, too.

 

And I don't think their relationship is secret since he tells Cass he removed the vallaslin during a private moment. And Vivienne and Sera comment on it. And he did dance with Lavellan in public. And he says 'vhenan' in front of the party if you tell Sera to shut up.

I really don't like blackwall/ironbull/sera romance wise. They can be fun people but thinking of them romantically to me is.. odd.

Or I'd keep my fingers crossed for a mod that removes gender restrictions on romance and proceed to Romance Cassandra, blissfully ignoring anytime she refers to me as a "he".

Haha. I get these moments going through my screenshot folder where I occasionally find pictures of Lavellan and Cass. They've got these looks on their faces which are like "it's a pity we're both straight". And I'm like... yeah...
