I get very sad when I think about what the romance options for F!Lavellan would have been like without the extra development time: no Solas OR Cullen. Ugh.

 

This, so much this. I'm not nearly as excited to play lady qunari and dwarves, precisely because of that. So glad they added them both in extra time, or I'd be playing male characters almost exclusively.

Oh man, I don't wanna pimp myself but literally 95% of the blogs I follow are Dragon Age themed, so I would just... point you towards that list. (I'm vertigomez on tumblr bc I'm super creative lmao.)

So, I've been lurking in this thread for the past few days (Hi there! A fellow Solasmancer here!), and I just needed to ask you lovely people something.

I was told that after you end the game, Solas kind of speaks through Cole and stuff. I've ended the game but when I go to Cole, I didn't have the option to talk to him, unlike the other companions, and he just stands there silent. I then reloaded the game to before the final quest, finished some side quests, and ended it again; but I'm still unable to talk to Cole and listen to Solas speak through him!

 

Is it a glitch? I'm playing on PS3, by the way. :<

I think it's a glitch, I couldn't talk to him either.  

I'm on PC. Since I've noted it happening to a few people, it will probably be patched, or maybe it WAS patched today.

Many pages ago I recall someone mentioning they wondered what a Fen'Harel vallaslin would look like. I think it's unlikely for him to have one in canon since he abhors slavery, so I did a quick doodle of what I imagine it'd look like if it existed. I was feelin' creative.

Ooooh, I'm sorry if it's been pointed out... but anyone else notice, particularly after finishing the game, that in Bioware's promotional War Table 'Last Supper' art, Solas was in the position of Judas?

I had planned on doing all the things before the final mission. But I was sooo distraught and upset I had to just finish the game.

Did the same thing rushed through the ending. I was muttering ******* under my breath everytime I saw him..couldnt stand it :/
I think what hurt the most was the ending scene when he is distraught and just disappeared.
It was worse than the break up imo. During the breakup there was an inkling of hope that things might get better after the battle. But just more feels. Lavellan is doomed

I was the same way at the end haha. I kept thinking "Did I do this? Did I mess up the romance somehow?"

I actually got concerned at the post-battle party. I was like... no sign of him, where did I go wrong???

And then the post-credits scene happened.

I agree it would be odd if he had one, but it would not be impossible.  I mean in order to rebel against a system, typically the person was a member of it first.  So I wouldn't be shocked if Fen'harel had an old version of vallaslin.  Gods, Solas would be so offended and appalled if that design resurfaced. 

 

Anyways, this is pretty spot on and I like the way it looks.  Well done.
