Despite the timing of when you are able to trigger certain scenes I stand by my assessment of that look 
in the timeline of the Inquisition, he's not been with them all that long when they journey to Skyhold. gameplay/story segregation as it were.

I agree. It actually is like love at first sight because he's referring to when he grabbed your hand in the very beginning to close the first rift and that's when he "felt the whole world change."
Also if you planned to romance Solas from the very beginning, really gives the whole end of Act I cut-scene sequence a whole new meaning. Like the way he's looking at you in those two screenshots kalala posted. Maybe it's just me, but it totally can be interpreted to be the gaze of a man at the woman he has feelings for.

Well, if it was me, I'd restart, because, as a completionist, I'll only ever have one runthrough. I have over 20 game saves in the Keep due to the problems you are having now, and I'm holding off on starting again because Adela says her hairstyles will probably only be for character creation.
The good part about starting so many characters in the character creator is that you know exactly how to make the character you want after a certain amount of tries.
Hey guys, little question: So, I've got my mage Taleyah Lavellan, who did this huge mistake regarding Leliana, so I will end up with crazy spymaster deluxe in the future. I still love her, but I recently started noticing all of the little mistakes in her face. But I already have around 20 hours of playtime with her, so I don't know if I should drop her or not. Or if she should end up as my 'canon' playthrough after all. I haven't even gotten the first Solas romance scene yet, ugh.
For both of these I'd honestly hold out for a DLC or a mod that is like the one in DA2 where you can go and re-enter character creation there to change your character. Even though they say the lighting is fairly neutral, without any options to change lighting in the creator its going to be extremely difficult to get anything right. My biggest issues are reds vs blue/purple. Reds look better to me on super intense settings while blues and purples can be overwhelming even with very low intensity settings. They look fine in creator but once you enter dark/light areas its like "WOAH"
There's also the possibility that, since it does have a console although not in use, someone will make a mod or a script of some sorts (im probably not using the modding based terms here properly, Sorry!) to re-open character creation in the console command similar to how some character creation mods for skyrim let you reopen them through the console. The problem is you cant expect these anytime soon, because Frostbite is suppose to be really hard to mod.
My Lavellan uses the American voice. But then, my Lavellan is a strong, aggressive hardass, not a feminine, soft or weepy type.
And I'm just sitting here like "This softer, higher pitched voice sounds too aggressive".

I believe the general consensus was that the writers wanted the player to determine that in their own headcannon. There's enough implications for the fact to go either way, so it's up to you. There's no 100% defined confirmation. From what I understand, some feedback told the writers that should such a scene be included, it would feel "rapey" or inappropriate due to certain aspects of Solas's past and future.
I can understand why, some people might feel like they didn't know Solas' character at all and would rather just change their headcannon than deal with a scene involving them as well.
To me Iron Bull's first romance seems... weird to me because he didn't tell the quizzie the safe word first and rules for what he's into ahead of time. It does make me a little uncomfortable and its part of the reason I want to avoid running through the romance myself, so I can relate to the reasoning behind the lack of a Solas sex scene. @-@
So, I don't particularly like this song, but I heard it on the radio and I couldn't help but immediately think of Solas. And I'm not usually one for equating songs with life either 
But I just feel it fits too well.

1. Concern over how she'd rule with that power.
2. Concern over her safety with that power (she is an elf, and possibly a mage too)
3. "Oh great, the Shems are singing"
4. Scheming... (he is about to drop that bomb on her about the elven orb, to gain her support in his plan to retrieve it)
5. Admiration/love?

I actually love the scene with him on the mountain, talking to him as an elf. For the longest time, I thought maybe he only told you "the truth" (HAHAHAHAHA, the truth!) about the orb if you were an elf. I was actually kind of bummed when I found out that wasn't the case.
Tho now I'm looking forward to that conversation with my character that he hates....

Flemeth does point out in DA:I that she raised Morrigan to think as she does, so it's not too surprising that Morrigan is of a similar mind. Witch Hunt Morrigan seems to know more about Flemeth/her plans than Inquisition Morrigan, which is a bit weird. I'm excited to see where it goes. I hope they just resolve some mysteries and pile on more so the series goes on forever xD

I finally got all those shards today. I have lost years off my life in the process but it is done! Now I have to do 30 potion/tonic/grenade upgrades. Wandering around looking for herbs...forever. WHY IS THERE NEVER ENOUGH ELFROOT?
I am currently rolling with Solas and Dorian to help me defeat the last two High Dragons I have left. As they're both firey dragons I have the pair of them in Dragon made fire resistant armour. It's so orange it hurts me. I can't look at them... too orange.

Also, because no one hates Rufio Trevelyan, I ended up grabbing this adorable picture of Solas from that same scene
Just start another playthrough, watching early cutscenes I can't help thinking something like 'yes! that is fate! that is destiny! They are meant meet each other and fall in love!' Pity those Solas whose inquisitor is not F!Lavenllan.
And it seems he really can't stand the thought that Lavellan may feel their love is only lies and tricks. It'd be kinder for her to believe so, but Solas does his best to try to convince her otherwise. Hmm, selfish wolf.
