OMG, love! Your Lavellan has the same hair and color as mine... Don't mind me while I quietly steal these... ;<.<
NOT in the same way. Hawke without his/her LI was a travesty.
Some of them really did make sense for them not to be with Hawke. Merrill and Fenris on the other hand. O.o That was really confusing.

I was totally OK with Anders (my Hawke's LI) not being there, what with how he went absolutely INSANE in Legacy.
As for the others, yeah... I can understand how it would be confusing that Hawke wasn't with them.

Here ya go! It just came out the other day so its pretty unstable (I have to restart the game if I want to re-position the characters) but it works great in cutscenes and otherwise. Remember to post your pictures later, I'd love to see everyone's photos ![]()

I really hope they bring photo mode to PS4 like some other games have. I had a blast with it in Shadow of Mordor. It's kinda hard to time snapshots when they're in cutscenes at the moment.
I would get carried away, but probably not more than I have with my collection of video clips, that I keep rewatching...all the time..
woooooo! Solas is now winning the best romance poll! http://forum.bioware...nce-vote-share/
I'm glad he's winning though I didn't vote for anybody not even him. I love his romance but I don't want to encourage Bioware to write more "Get your heart broken" romances. I don't think it's over with Lavellan and Solas but still I don't want to encourage it.
But then again who am I kidding Bioware will still do something like this again in the future games cause well that's Bioware. ![]()

I figure the more support he gets, the more we'll see if him in the future.

4:58 Nooooo, don't remind him. :c
Really, my worst-case scenario is that Solas won't show up until DA4, where he's the villain and a new protagonist has to kill him. Your protagonist has no idea who this guy is, while you do.
The only way I am cool with this is if it imports my DA:I profile and my inquisitor is standing right next to him with her staff/sword/dagger, snarling at the protagonist to go ahead and TRY it.
Lavellan miniboss. Yeahhh.
I love your signature

Haha true that could happen but I'm still debating on whether or not I should vote for him. ![]()
I want to try out that cinematic tool, but not sure if it is compatible with Boulotaur's version of sweetfx
Ooooh, this works really well. Never heard the Lily Allen version before.
That's what's really gonna be the problem going forward. Dragon Age has Too Many Heroes syndrome. And people feel very protective of their previous protagonists and love interests and companions. So you've got this enormous cast that you have to add to every game, and in order to please people you have to budget in cameos and returning characters. I think it'd be best to have one more game with the Inquisition, use this entire cast you've built up, and then do another 15/20-year timeskip or something.
I agree. It seems really strange to me that the Warden was off looking into blight-magic while the whole world was ending elsewhere in Thedas. Like sure they don't know much about Coryphefish but at least they're another person with a sword/bow/staff/hammer/etc. A person with almost universal respect that could unite the many bickering groups Quizzie is fighting with. Or could lead the fumbling Wardens. It wasn't as weird for the Warden to be uninvolved in DA:2 because the story was isolated to Kirkwall.
NOT in the same way. Hawke without his/her LI was a travesty.
Agreed. Just a variation of "we can't be together because I want you to be safe" trope. Fenris followed Hawke around everywhere in my playthrough. He'd faced Coryphefish before. Why wouldn't he come with her? Why is Hawke OK with Varric following her but not her boyfriend? Why does she seem to think Fenris is safer hunting Tevinter mages by himself?
It was also really weird seeing Hawke and not being Hawke. Sometimes my Hawke said some really OOC things. The way they retconned(how is this spelled) blood magic made a lot of people angry too.
So...I feel like they need to make a big change. I'd rather not have their solution to just find as many ways as possible to kill off protagonists until it's nearly impossible to keep them all alive. I know they live in a dangerous world but...it seems a little unjust to have everyone die. I think they'll need to skip forward, recycle protagonists, or move to a far-away region to get out of having so many connections to keep up with.

Lavellan miniboss. Yeahhh.
Won't lie...would be rooting for Lavellan in that case. Don't know who my new protagonist would be but pretty sure I won't like them as much as the character I've already shepherded through a crisis.
*sigh* Okay I voted..for
Whoa, I was just discussing with a friend about Solas’ fear and I made myself so sad again. Look at how tragic this elf is. Because his fear is so… rational, I think. So much of it is a self-fulfilling prophecy and he knows it. There’s no way he can’t see it. He would shut everyone away, and yet desperately he wants someone. At least, someone. I mean, for someone to have that as their BIGGEST fear, it means no small amount of fear in there. His conversations with you, about the inquisition as a force, his talks with Sera about leading a rebel organization, about betrayal and how only allies can do it… All of this paints a man who really cannot bring himself to trust, who really can’t bring down those mental walls, and yet who desperately, dreadfully wishes to do so.I’ll be here in my corner.
Ow -- my heart.
I'm just gonna lay on the floor and be sad now

It didn't bother me at all that my Warden was looking for a calling-cure - it was actually completely in her character. I role-played my Warden as someone who never wanted to eb a warden, and was forced into it against her will. So her being like, "**** everything else, I need to find a cure for this calling thing" was completely something she'd do.
And yea, my Hawke was totally a blood mage, so hearing her go off on blood magic was weird.
I really hope that they will reconsider not making expansions. It seems like the best way for us Solas fans to get closure while having enough material to set up for the next Dragon Age.

That's part of the problem. There are so many choices in how to play one's character that whenever they choose what they're doing in another game, it's going to be weird for someone. My canon Hawke wasn't a blood mage so it made perfect sense for her to hate it. My secondary Hawke was and also was not really the self-sacrificing type so I found it odd she'd even offer to stay behind in the Fade. She would've said "It was the Warden's fault he should stay"

Just let her love you!!!

yeah, I couldn't connect to my Hawke at all. I also had trouble making her look like my DAII Hawke. That's part of why I chose Alistair over her. Poor Fenris though.

Solas is a tragic character that has the most subtle manpain I've EVER seen. It's pretty amazing! He's always so in control of himself that even when he outright tells you that it's been a long time since he's been able to trust someone, you only really see that loneliness in how passionate he is towards a romanced Lavellan. He kisses you like it's the last time he'll ever be able to every single time.
And it hits home when you see his greatest fear. I don't know about you all, but I actually didn't see that coming. He hides his sadness pretty well for a video game guy. Usually the manpain hits you like a truck. Lookin' at you, Anders and Fenris and Blackwall. ![]()

He really fits the saying that it's lonely at the top.
