I feel like we're sending the wrong (or absolutely right) impression to BioWare

So far a few people have said it fixed the problems. I haven't seen anyone screaming about their game suddenly exploding or anything yet, so... here's hoping! I'm about to start up my game myself and see how it is. Wish me luck. lol

Well if it didn't work the boards would explode and we would never hear the end of it. Lol. People are rabid over in that patch thread.

I'm still getting the cutscene error crash.  So for me these patches haven't fixed the only problem I have been having since launch.  *sigh*

Quick question: Did you try using the command line workaround the Bioware devs posted? If you did, did you remember to remove it before starting up the game? Someone else in the Patch thread was reporting they still had the cutscene crashes, and they hadn't remembered to remove the command line prompts. I don't know yet if that actually fixed their problem, though.

Yep.  I did the work around when the patch caused shiny hair.  I removed it after today's hotfix.  Sometimes the crash will happen multiple times during the same cutscene.  Other times I'll go days without it happening.

This is perfect and explains why Zev is the only LI still with the Warden.  He simply refuses to allow her to get dragged into messes.

I never could romance Zev. I actually never romanced anyone other than Alistair ever in Origins. I rarely changed parties in Origin and kept my dog with me at all times. The only regulars were Alistair and Morrigan/Wynne depending on if I was a Mage or not.

I wasn't very inventive.

I romanced both Anders and Fenris in DA2 ( a game I liked better than Origins lol). This time I want to romance everyone! And I switch up my party like every hour, I love them all that much.
