I just realized that Bioware has a thing for strong confident male elves with really dark and tragic backstories.
Knew there was a reason I always romance the elves.
I love Zev more as time goes on. He's got a tragic backstory, but doesn't let it get him down. He fixed his business with the crows DA:2 (apparently) and is now as settled as one can be when following around the Hero of Ferelden. I like to think they have a nice, stable, but still super-fun relationship. Every once in a while they go back to Ferelden to visit Big Bro' Cousland but mostly they're just trying to stay at a normal level of danger...
please don't take their love away from me Bioware.

*heavy breaths* I finally caught up. This is what happens when you take a nap. But I handed in my final paper and turned in my books so the semester is over and I only have 18 hours of college left. I needed a celebratory nap.
Now back to Solas. Speaking of horrible last gen graphics...did anyone else have the messed up tea cup when Solas's personal quest began?

I, too, just finished finals on Tuesday. Now begins the long period till January--and the beginning of hardcore nursing school--while I have nothing to distract me from my sorrow. I wanted to do other playthroughs, but I think the Solavellan has broken my spirit. </3

And you poor dears. Save up a few bucks. Used xbones is cheaper, and (what my brother does) Gamestop has a return policy that you can exchange for a "new" one if it goes "bad". No one should suffer those graphics.

I was a total noob to RPGs when I first played Dragon Age, so I immediately went for the shy but attractive hot guy who would get jealous and had a sexy voice. He can be a little immature at times, though he comes from a good place. It's cute and it fits with his character, so I don't hold that against him.
I know exactly what you mean about Zev. I didn't really understand the depth of his character until my second playthrough years later! I always thought he was just this sex crazed happy go lucky elf who had some bad **** happen to him, but was, in general, doing well. Zev has lived. He takes pleasures in life and doesn't apologize for that, because any moment could be his last. He never had much, and had to rely on his physical prowess, wit, and looks to survive. He does have very deep feelings, but he doesn't show them, so of course that is appealing! (What is wrong with me?!!)

I'm genuinely sorry for your predicament but I can't look at that without busting out laughing.

Oh my god, yes! It was so odd seeing it float around near his hand. Gave me a good laugh.
And while we're talking of messed up things, one glitch that totally ruined a dramatic mood was during Blackwall's Revelations companion quest.
Totally killed the drama of that moment for me. xD

I got Cullen weirdly hunched backed in a cutscene once. Sadly missed my que to hit record.
So I got really excited about trying the cinematic tool, and I ended up flying in the sky and/or with my "face" in the dirt and I can't fix it :X. I hope that restarting the game works. I wanted some cool screenshots.
Ok, it worked. Good. I'd be sad if I messed up my game because I tried to use something I didn't understand XD
God, I love Zev. I was never actually that into Alistair as an LI. I like him better as a brother figure for my Wardens. First run, Al's inability to answer a straight question annoyed me so much that I didn't really want to romance him. Figured I'd do a no-mance playthrough. I got Zev and didn't really think much of him either. Then I actually started taking him places and it was wonderful. He trolled everyone I put him in a party with. He tried to talk Alistair into letting him give him a tattoo. He plied Wynne for naughty stories from the circle. He snarked with Morrigan. I thought he was hilarious. So I directed my curious, trigger-happy Surana to start chatting him up. I was a bit disappointed that he didn't seem to like me as much as I liked him, but oh well, maybe that's just how he was. And then I triggered his "I can't sleep with you because I've come down with a bad case of Feelings" dialogue and...yeah. The rest is history.

I have a file where I'm Alistair's mistress and I romanced Leliana (It does accept it in the keep if you set Leliana as primary romance). I ended up hardening both Leliana and Alistair that playthrougth...
Now I'm worried crazy as **** Leliana is going to murder Alistair to keep the warden for herself in that set up if they show up again. D:

Haha. During one of Josephine's scenes she was oddly short in her chair. She kept sinking progressively deeper into the chair/floor as the scene continued. At least I've never seen any graphical problems with Solas's face.

I adore Zev, and I spent over an hour fiddling with DA2 files to get his worldstate to trigger properly...because I romanced him with my Tabris and then promptly fed her to an Archdemon

I don't think I can do that to him. I'll off my other Wardens all day long if they're romancing Leliana, Alistair, Morrigan... but I can't do that to hiiiiiiim.
