I believe it is pronounced Sil-eyes.
Game of Thrones, I believe.

Yup, yup it was GOT. It was actually a name of an episode last season I think. You know where .... that one person does that one thing and it like woah?
I refuse to spoil that show or books for anyone.
wow I must be delirious with Solas fever
I put the "wolf" here you can see the green arrows pointing to the legs and the orange to the tail. Seriously you guys don't see a 4 pawed animal with a fluffy tail carrying something that hides his head and some of his back ?
I am not sure that they are really connected, but I will say this. When you blew it up like that I do kind of see it, and I also see A dragon on either side. I swear there is more to Solas and Mythal then old "friends" and that is why his statue and hers appear together at the eluvian and in the Temple of Mythal.

Well if they're old back then, they've known each other for a very very long time.
Some people see beasts of burden there, but the fluffy tail (and my Solas obsession) tells me it's wolves.
In any case I think I'm seeing wolves everywhere now
Bioware what have you done to me!

If that's so and he knew Mythal was still kicking around, that could be why Solas wasn't too eager to be with Lavellan. And yet, also if they had been together and he was willing to do what he did to Flemeth... well... that doesn't look too good for Lavellan's chances, let's just say.
I found someone who drew a ginger Solas and it is love:

So random topic, thinking about the baldness. There's a lot of wonderful fan art depicting Solas with hair but...if all the murals show the old gods as bald then...does that mean they were bald? Plus most of the ancient elven art seems to depict everyone as also being bald. I mean I guess Mythal has hair now (or did before the post-credit scene)...but I guess I'm wondering if it's a natural thing or a grooming practice or a side-effect of being in uthenara (which seems less likely to me because all of the elves in the ancient depictions seem to be bald...). If the ancient elves were all bald, I sort of find it impressive that Solas doesn't say anything about potentially not-bald Lavellan.

Mythal is also thought as Mother of other gods
Lavellan is fine if you call fine having Flemeth for mother in law

Mother of God
I love red hair, can he be anymore perfect?!
And it could just be easier to depict them bald. We all know bioware failed in the hair department.

While I felt their relationship seemed more mother/son ish, they could also be interpreted as being lovers. Which is where my thoughts come from... and even then, if you could steal your own mother's soul? Yeah... doesn't look great for Lavellan.
As for mother-in-law... I somehow doubt we'll ever get to marry Solas. I think some people are so sensitive to certain topics that BioWare is afraid to explore them. For instance, female characters probably will never get the chance to have kids post-game, because some people are so against it they don't even want the option available to others--even though male characters can have children in DA:O (the dwarf Warden can, and any male Warden can have a child with Morrigan). And marriage is the same.
What the heck is going on? O.o Things are going wonky on the site.

You see, he was a hot blooded rebellious youth so he decided to grow his hair out to annoy the other gods.
I took a look at this again to refresh my memory, and can't make up my mind about whether we're being lore-trolled.

The elements included in all the other murals are specific and deliberate. They echo known myths, or fragments about that god's particular sphere of influence. The concentric spheres above the wolf's head don't use the wavy lines of the sun's rays in Elgar'nan's mosaic. The moon, then, seems a viable guess.
I'm really resistant to opening this up to "werewolf" territory, though. There's no history there other than a fairly modern (by ancient elven standards) curse, right?

yeah, I'm randomly able to give likes and randomly not. It's weird.
To the next page!!

And the Dalish later came to despise him because he dared to be hairy. Elves are supposed to be bald, didn't he understand that? Clearly he must be a traitor, a trickster, and everything that is wrong about elven youth today!

I always think of his original hair as being curly, for some reason... @w@ But this is awesome.

Lol. It's this page that's messed up.
I must say, I actually like the red hair solas version more than the black hair version. It makes him seem more rebellious.

It definitely makes him stand out.

Mythal: Honey, I'm just concerned. You're running around with wolves ... just talk to me, please.
Fen'harel: I needed to get away for a while. *tosses hair broodily*
Mythal: Honey your father and I love you, but this is getting out of hand.
Fen'harel: God, you don't even understand me! Get out of my room!
*Mythal withdraws shaking her head*
Fen'harel: I'm going to build a new world and only invite the cool people.
*cue the Fall of Arlathan and the destruction of the Elvhen empire*
Well I think we can all understand why Andruil wanted to bed him so badly. haha
