I'm honestly stumped. Equally stumped on who Gwendoline Christie is voicing as well. There's always the possibility that Jennifer (or both) is voicing a couple of npcs (Mark Meer did that in DA:O and DAII).

Hopefully not. I cannot see an outside LI as being able to compete with advisors or companions when it comes to content, but we will see what happens.

You're right Patrick is going to be at GaymerX. I also agree this bodes well for either IB or Solas being romance options considering the chance of them being bi has skyrocketed as they said there will be at least one bi male so we will see.
I really don't get why they announced a female bisexual LI but not a male to balance it out... I'm really worried about the options for straight ladies (beyond Cullen) at this point...
And as of the present, I admit Solas is pretty much the only one I'm interested in pursuing. (If I play a man at some point, I'm totally going after Dorian, though.)

Yeah, I'd be pretty surprised if the non-companion/advisor is included in the 8 romances. That and Varric's situation with Bianca and Blackwall being everyone's dad gives me hope.

All I can say is, at least at this point if Solas is not available, I'm totally prepared for it. I'll be ecstatic if he is, of course, but if he's not, well... not like I didn't see that one coming. If the "outsider" is not Dagna, I'm wondering if it could be Gaspard, for instance. That would be a straight male race-gated to human only.
If I had to guess, also, I'd say Iron Bull may be able to sleep with others, but if he's a romance he will only officially romance qunari, hence race-gating... In that case, it's still possible Solas McTightpants is available.

I don't think it will be either Gaspard or Celene as the NPC romance, because David Gaider said sometime back that there would be no "noble marriages", like Anora, some time back. Whoever these NPC romances are, I have a feeling they may be people we've never even heard of at this point. I'm going to assume for now that they aren't part of the official count, though.

I'm banking on the bi male romance option they mentioned being revealed at GaymerX and since PW is there it is possible that it is either Solas or Iron Bull. The chances are looking pretty good right now for Solas fans who want to romance him and the race gated LI could be the non companion/advisor one (if that one is included as part of the eight) so we will see

Cullen being straight bodes well for Solas being bi... But if there's going to be a romance outside of the companions/advisors, I think Solas' odds of being a romance are sinking like a rock, because Iron Bull is looking more likely to be the male bi romance from that pool.

I just read something really bad about a previous DA romance's fate (first Thane and now this, argh), and I need a Solas romance to cheer me up. 
At this rate I'll want to go around stabbing all the romanceable women, although they never stay dead.
