The under eye vallaslin in my profile picture doesn't look like it belongs to any of the gods.
It's part of the Mythal set that Abelas wears, just a different variation.

Well isn't it ironic that I drank from the well.
In my fic, considering who Solas is, and what his intention would be in removing vallaslin, I decided that it was effectively "Fen'harel anansal," and sort of like Fiona's Blight cure, vallaslin can no longer be applied to my Inquisitor's face.
I doubt it would actually work that way, though. Probably if you reeaaaally wanted, you could go get vallaslin done again.
There is actually NPC banter about the vallaslin removal; a couple of NPCs talk about it by the shops in the courtyard at Skyhold. The weird thing is they misgendered my Inquisitor. "But he doesn't look like ME anymore." ... Um, Lady Lavellan is a woman... not a he...
But but but... but the irony if you could put it back on... haha
Was it just those npc's who got your gender wrong or more of them? I know there was a bug where most/all npc's got your gender wrong, but if it's just them it might just be an isolated thing?
Y'know, when Solas says that when he was young he was all hot-blooded and cocky, was it to Varric? Anyway, am I the only one who pictures Zevran? I mean, not totally like Zev, but similar. Not sure if a young Solas ever said that he was ridiculously awesome, though.
It's with Blackwall. If you want, here's a link to it. It should automatically go to the time, but if it doesn't it's at 8:06.
I wish I can do art. I want a pic of Solas in his youth with long hair and princely robes.

It was just those ones, but the surprising thing about it is that the vallaslin removal can't even be done for a male Lavellan (unless I'm terribly mistaken and he does it for men he's friends with?).
I wish I could do video editing @_@
I hope once I finish this playthrough I'll make a semi-decent fan music video for Solas. I normally don't feel compelled to do this stuff, but Solas is a special case.
I want the orb.
I think a bunch of future content will involve it.
Even after it shattered the fragments retain power after all.
I think the Inquisitor already has the only part of the orb that still matters. The Anchor.
I was just reading through it. It's pretty long. Taking me a while to read it and do other stuff at the same time, heh.
Has our own forum Solas tumblr post in it, she read it
have some Solas perfume
lol was just posted above.. try this one then ![]()

What if the shards actually make a gigantic orb if you didn't use them up in the Forbidden Oasis place.
Edit: SOLAS is that why you have a shard on your desk?! Hmm

I kind of think Solasan is where Solas... woke up? I could be totally off base; I didn't finish that quest and once I had no Solas to take along with me to do so... I just didn't have the will. He could even have been at Skyhold, though it seems unlikely since Skyhold has seen many repurposed uses over the centuries.
Anyway... maybe he just found a spare one, somehow? Not like they didn't make a quadrillion of the things so you could open all those doors. There were bound to be spares.

I have a vague memory of something about the Temple of Mythal and revealing what the vallaslin really is but I honestly can't even remember where I heard it or if I just made it up in my head O.o I think it would be nice if Solas did offer to remove the tattoos from a male Lavellan if he is good friends with them... I mean, yes it makes lots of sense for him to offer to a romanced female Lavellan, but I do think Solas could develop a meaningful friendship and care about a male Lavellan enough to tell him (depending on how you roleplay Lavellan of course)

That moment is VERY intimate. My Lavellan bared herself for him there. It wouldn't mean the same for a male quizzy, not unless it was a male quizzy romancing Solas.
Maybe he's born with it? Maybe it's Uthenera!
"All New Faded For Her" is actually an anagram of "FenHarel Dread Wolf" though lol

Which is why that particular NPC dialogue being misgendered made me think that it was originally intended for Solas to be bisexual, and then minds changed... why? Clearly something had to be decided, and either it had to do with resources or story.

Yes, it was, but if Solas/Fen'Harel locked away all the other gods even partly to free the elven slaves, most of whom he probably wouldn't even have known, it wouldn't be that much of a stretch for him to hesitatingly offer the truth to a male Lavellan he respects. It wouldn't be done in the same way of course but if Solas/Fen'Harel found slavery and the markings so abhorrent I can't imagine it would be ooc for him to offer to reveal the truth about them to male Lavellan that has earnt his respect.

It's possible that before Solas was added as a romance the vallaslin removal was written into the friendship arc, then when the game was pushed back and they had time to add his love story they made it romance specific. The writers might've decided it was too intimate for just friends (though I personally think it could've been friend-appropriate with minor tweaks). Who knows ![]()

This is entirely possible. Some people would have been totally weirded out by such an intimate scene with their friend-NOT-lover.

It is not misgendered, males don't get this dialog

Maybe without the 'And now I take you to a romantic spot by a waterfall!' bit ![]()

LOL, yes!
Solas: The Veil is thin here, can you feel it tingle on your skin?
FriendQuisitor: Uh...
Solas: I wanted to show you how much I respect you, Inquisitor.
FQ: This has been fun, but... *runs away*
