It seems like there's more coming today? Are they going to reveal the other LI's then maybe? Well, the excitement and anxiousness is back again, just as I thought it ended yesterday

Good morning, friends! While I know that we didn't really get any romance news for Solas yesterday, I don't think it's a reason to sink down into a hopeless heap! Pick yourselves up, we need our shenanigans back, it's not like our nerdy elf is dead! Until we know for sure, we're allowed to assume he can be everyone's Fade-y, nerdy, efly LI! I'm really not someone who complains a lot, I was happy for the Cullenites, the people that wanted Dorian to be gay / Sera as lesbian etc

They didn't really hint that he was an LI at all, imo. They said "soon", as in their joking reply to everything, that we'll know soon. People are just twisting it. They were saying to every unconfirmed male that they wouldn't answer now, but that they were getting to it.

Joking aside, yeah, I would prefer Solas over any of the other male romances. Except maybe Dorian.

This exactly, they just said "soon" in the sense of "you'll be knowing soon" not "he's going to be a LI soon" sometimes I can get pretty irritated by people on the forum just assuming all sorts of things and making things seem like something they're not. *sigh* I guess us being left out (again) is getting to me now.. does anyone have a Solas hug to spare?

It looked like the picture with today's tweet about getting more Dragon Age stuff came from the E3 demo so maybe they're releasing the full version today? I've got to be honest, I don't really want any more info beyond who the rest of the LIs are. In a lot of ways I feel like I already know too much about the game and don't want to spoil anything else for myself, but I can't stand the uncertainty about romances. Please give me the list so I can stop obsessing! (or you know, just give me Solas )

So I was thinking about it this morning, and if Varric and IB were both male LIs, then people who want to play a straight female Quizzy will have gotten BOTH race-gated romances while those playing a straight male would have gotten none. That seems lopsided and unlikely, doesn't it? I just...I don't want to think they'd do that. Of course, if it happened, I'd be using a lot of that panda bear gif myself...

Edit: I should have specified "straight female Inquisitors" when i wrote the post, but I'm not that awake yet. Edited to reflect that. Just seems like it would be an odd thing to do.

It's true that if they said "we're not going to reveal anything about that yet" that it would've dodged the whole assumption thing, but I'd think that everyone knows by knows how the devs answer questions, and that you don't need to take every word they said literally. I don't think they meant anything by it either, but we'll see soon enough I guess. I'm definitely discovering that patience is not a virtue of mine..
