Oh my, did anyone else get these dialogues with Dorian about romancing Solas?
ahahaha just kidding! I made them to feed my tears :3 People on tumblr were taking them seriously! I'm not even using the right font for the subtitles lol ^^ I feel really bad, though, because having Dorian and more of the others commenting on Solas and Lavellan's relationship, especially offering her support, would've been a fantastic addition. I hunger for that stuff

A large portion of the people on Tumblr take nearly everything at face value and rarely dig deeper to make sure something isn't fake. Now there's going to be people wondering why they aren't getting this dialogue with Dorian. If it spreads enough, I wouldn't be surprised if people start wasting EA/Bioware's time reporting it as a bug when it doesn't exist at all. lol
Of course, it wouldn't have mattered if you explicitly stated they were fake or not, because someone would have inevitably erased the author comments or pretended it was real to try and trick people and SUCH IS TUMBLR. Can't trust hardly anything on that site. Gotta triple check everything you see on there. lol
Also, technically not spoilery, but we might get a lot of mileage out of asking him how he approaches writing choice into the game.

My big question is what made them want to make Solas into a romance option, besides the obvious "elves were only added later and he's elf only". Did Weekes always envision the character with a possibility for a good romance plot? Did he jump at the chance to include his romance when he could?

I definitely picture Solas as this kind of partner. Someone who would want to appreciate every inch of Lavellan while he still could. At least that's how he comes off to me, with how much he loses control and sense around her.
Before the game came out, Solas was one of my least favorite companions but now I keep him with me most of the time unless I need one of my other mages for something.

In one other romance I did (Cullen) there are quite some occasions that mages get alternative convo options (the whole ex-Templar & mage dynamic).

There is several differences in the conversation trees with Solas if you are a mage.
As for two mages in a party - it's a really good combo, gets even better after you pick a specialization. I usually run with atleast 2 mages in my parties.
My guess is she was helping, when she got betrayed.
That was my thought. My theory is Fen'Harel likely appealed first to Mythal to get Falon'Din and the other gods to calm down, as she had in the past. But rather than listen to her, they all turned on her.
I tweeted two of the questions, the one about choice and the other about reception to the character. If anyone wants to tweet the other questions, you can. I didn't want to hog them all...It might also not help that it takes me 20 minutes of deleting and rewriting a tweet before I decide to actually send it but, whatev.

The thing is I DID state I made them, but I guess people got excited and ignored it lol XD I would find it utterly hilarious if Weekes gets a message on twitter like HOW CAN I TRIGGER DORIAN'S DIALOGUE ABOUT SOLAS~!
I want to know if Felassan's vallaslin is one of the ones that we see in the game...(except that would probably be way too spoilery.) If I though he'd answer the question I'd consider becoming a bird to ask.
