I like the Therinfall quest better (also Cole sooner!) but I can't justify going to the templars instead of the mages for a character who doesn't hate mages. Only Cullen was saying that the templars could help and he had a pretty obvious bias. Everyone else was all "we need mages."

 

Both quests are pretty damn traumatic for the Inquisitor though. Poor Inquisitor.

 

 

There are a couple of translations going around.  It's partially translated in the FAQ in the first post of this thread too. The first part is something like "speak, trickster" and the rest is something about pride and victory.

 

 

Furthermore, the mages have already offered you their help at that point, whereas the High Seeker told you to kindly eff off.

I too was obsessed with Quenya long long ago, I used it to name my AD&D characters...bless my English to Elvish dictionary *sighs wistfully*.

Third: I did Wicked Minds and Hearts or whatever on Thursday and I thought I scoured that whole damn palace and I still only had enough to put Gaspard down and reconcile Briala and Celene even though what I really wanted was for Gaspard to rule. Then I had to kill what's her name which really annoyed me. This quest. Ugh.

Fourth: I know a few pages people were asking about restarting Lavellans and I've decided I want to wait until game patches and dlc to even start mine. That way I have a more complete game to play through my canon romance.

This too. I never really want to do Redcliffe but I can't talk myself into siding templars with many of my characters.

My current Inquisitor was divinely pissed off when that douche sucker punched that Chantry lady even though she was kind of being a ******. So she decided to go to the Templars to tell him off. And decided to ally with them because Ser Barris is cool.

Is it truly bugged or have they cut it? No way to make it trigger with the console commands?

 

I've avoided that Hinterland's rift in vain.

I'm probably one of the few people who enjoys that quest. Probably comes from being a completionist. I am used to combing every corner for all the things. Plus its nice to not have to fight loads, especially when playing on the harder modes
I had Gaspard rule in my first run. Just let Florian take down Celene and then went to fight her in the courtyard. I felt kinda bad.
My second time I reconciled the three of them. Maybe not the best option in the long run but I freaking love watching my inquisitor beat them all at their stupid game and telling them they work for him now. You get so much approval from Solas if you arrest florian and take that route. I'm convinced he also loves watching the inquisitor own them all as well heheheh

Happy I haven't missed the 1500 page. I have been saving a lot or video clips of my bromancing male Lavellan run. I shall bring gifs and pics to get us to our milestone! Once I get them off my PS4. Its taking a while.
I love the little laugh you get from Solas in the haven fade/dream chat when you tell him that Cass is just like that (when he says that she was accusing him of being involved). I also love his 'I didn't say it was a good plan' comment when you ask where in Thedas he intended to run away to. His face is so adorable when he says it.

I'm about to go do his spirit friend quest. But first, running around collecting obsidian for specialisation unlocking. They are such a pain to unlock.

I think it is a bug because you may notice that the Faded for Her quest doesn't show up in your completed quests. I hope it gets fixed soon because I'm ready to roll another character...

I dragged Solas, Sera and Cassandra through Thedas for hours yesterday in hopes of getting their romance banters, but no luck :-( I do get occasional banters (maybe 1 per half hour, if I am lucky), but not these. Does anyone have a recording of the perfume banter with Cassandra? I would so love to hear it!
