I had an entire world state dedicated to sleeping with as many characters as possible - which included several trips to the brothels. Now that world state looks like its going to end up just kissing a lot of people....

Given the similarities of their nature and apparent meta-perceptive abilities, if Cole can perceive this in the Inquisitor, it's not much of a stretch to imagine that Solas is similarly aware.

(...or even more so, if- as Sister Squish pointed out- he had a direct pre-game hand in anchoring you to the Inquisitor, Neverending Story-style. @w@)

 

Even if it is nonsense, you guys have no idea how personally beneficial this Meta-Theory has been! 

For example, we can no longer bothered that we do not experience the content restricted to his romance plot-line in playing another race. It is explained by him being bound by the same game rules - that same confining dialogue wheel as us! Inevitably, the only method in which we can truly show appreciation for him, if that is our wish, is to find a way of saving those elves - saving this world of Thedas. 

And it looks like that is how he feels too!

I agree.  At a certain point, there's only so much tiptoeing BioWare can do.  IMO not being offended is hardly an inalienable right.  What is it that Josie says about the Orlesians?  Something about outrage being a national pasttime?  Halamshiral is nothing compared to the Internet

Bah, as long as no one is forcing it I wouldn't call it objectifying. It's such a weird concept to me. Most times no one is forcing them to do or look a certain way.

And I'd have really loved to have relived accidently buying a prostitute again.   I thought I was buying a mercenary first time playing Origins. . . How wrong I was.

I'm sure someone has said it before, but I'm remaining stalwart in my thought that Solas will ONLY accept an elven female lover because after he finishes his very serious business -- he'll return to ALL respective Lavellan's and they shall repopulate Thedas with a new elven race, unifying past with present & casting forth a brilliant future.  Yes.  This must be it! ;P

God, I'm gonna sound like the craziest girlfriend but I for the longest time I was convinced that the "leaf-eared lover" in the Saga of Tyrdda Brightaxe was actually Solas. I mean, a knowledgeable, almost otherworldly figure who is also an elf? It fit to a T. Plus, Patrick Weekes wrote the Saga that we read in-game. So as we were wandering the Hinterlands and I kept finding Tyrdda Brightaxe stuff (like the tree planted to honor her lover) I kept giving Solas such a stinkeye. Which is completely irrational. I mean, he's lived for a very long time. He's got to have had other loves. Didn't stop me from being jealous though.

 

But just this evening on twitter Patrick Weekes confirmed that Tyrdda's lover was a woman. I felt both relieved and really embarrassed for feeling relieved.

I just found out today that the local bookstore has Asunder and The Masked Empire in stock. Guess what I'm reading on my flight home for the holidays!   I'm excited to read more about Cole (our sweet spirit baby   ), and this whole business with Felassan and the eluvians.

 

I am just so thirsty for ANYTHING that would shed light on the questions presented by the end of Inquisition. I'm positive that we'll be getting a Solas-centric DLC, but probably not until the end of Inquisition's DLC lineup. If that's how they're going to do it, I hope that in every not-Solas DLC, they put in clues that hints to eventually being able to reach Solas. So while we don't get the Solas content directly, it feels like we're working towards it - if that makes sense.

 

*sigh* That cliffhanger is torture... and great fanwork fuel.
