Sigh, I am dragging out the main story for as long as possible so that the third romance scene would be one of the last things I have to do in the game. I finished hinterlands, fallow mire, storm coast, and the oasis before sealing the breach. ![]()

I'm tagging Andruil and Falon...Fal'on...Din...Falon'Din? As the two biggest crazies. I think Mythal is going to be the yin to Elgar'nan's yang. Assuming she's still alive.
Posted before I was done! >
I can agree with those names as well! I think Falon'Din and Dirthamen seem to be the same person maybe someone with split personalities or something.

So, I have a question....Does anyone have and opinion on what the Void may be? I get the impression that it is different from the fade. I was just reading the story of Andruil from the Temple of Mythal and was curious of opinions.
I have no idea what the Void could be yet, other than that the codex about Andruil says it's the "abyss" where the Forgotten Ones supposedly lived, as opposed to the "heaven" where the Creators were. Places in the Fade, maybe?
Also the Crossroads remind me so much of the Wood Between the Worlds! Which is awesome because I adore C.S. Lewis!
Yay multiple dimensions!
Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who wanted to ask Morrigan "so which one goes to Narnia" ![]()

Andruil is a HUGE disappointment (I mean that in a good way, she took me by surprise) I love Artemis and I thought Andruil was her elven version. (Both huntresses, both names start with A and have six letters). Until Solas and codexes and Masked Empire make you realize she's craaaazy. I mean Artemis did her fair share of smitting (spelling?) And killing but she at least had a soft side! ( a protector of children, so cute) Andruil has yet to show her soft side! Other than she likes hares...which brings up the question "why a bunny?" I mean she's a huntress...a warrior.... Bunnies are....bunnies...why not a falcon or wild cat?
Oh jeez I am so ranting

This song doesn't just apply specifically to the Solas romance, but I think it could in a way apply to Dragon Age: Inquisition itself. I'm contemplating making another video to it now. I've been sucked into making Dragon Age fan videos, someone help me D:

Yeah
I had similar thoughts. Although it's kind of weird since there respective god of this doesn't seem to mesh. I mean secrets/knowledge and death do mesh but not like god of death and god of birth would or god of secrets and god knowledge would. I mean, usually with the personality split it's like 2 sides of the same coin or day and night...not death and knowledge. Hmm Anywho

As far as the bunny...the only thing I can think of is Buddha and the rabbit that sacrificed it's life for the starving Buddha..... :: Flails :: What If at the end Flemythal became the bunny and gave up everything to a powerless (straving) Solas! Whooo, okay, I know that one was out there!

I've developed a bit of a thing for Andruil. She just sounds like such a psycho! I quietly theorise that she is part of the reason Solas is so unnerved by Grey Wardens. From the codex:
Andruil went nuts because she took the darkness into herself - much like the GW do.
Personally, I think death/secrets SORT of work as two sides of the same coin. Remember that before elves lost their immortality, Uthenera was their "death" - they passed beyond the Fade and were guided by Falon'din and Dirthamen until they returned to their kin in the waking word, bringing with them secrets learned during their time in the Fade.

Andruil, she is definitely an interesting character. I think she may also be the source of the blight and the possible murderer of Mythal.

I suppose that would make it very awkward if you had a PC dedicated to Andruil who drank of the Well, met Flemythal, romanced Solas, and kept the vallaslin ![]()

I think actually, the Blight existed prior to whatever Andruil did. She was Blighted... she got it from somewhere. She didn't create it, but she went hunting those who had it. Then she made Blight armor.
My theory on the "void armor" is that it was something similar to Samson's red lyrium armor. Maybe it didn't do harm immediately, but it corrupted her over time, painfully, until Mythal destroyed the armor.
I suspect the Blight originates with the Formless One. If not, then one of the Forgotten Ones did it... or one of the other Creators.
I've been thinking that it's entirely possible that with what we thought we knew about Fen'harel being terribly wrong, it's entirely possible that the Forgotten Ones were generally better people/gods than the Creators. Although that may be a bit too predictable, to be honest, and I'm sure that it's a more nuanced situation than good guys vs. bad guys. In any case, the Creators could have made the Blight, or the Forgotten Ones, or someone else and those two groups just fought blaming each other or something...
I know the Blight fits in there somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if it's what caused the ancient elven gods to war with one another, or what made them all seem to corrupt over time (then again, absolute power corrupts absolutely...).

I am not saying she alone is the what created the blight, but I think she might have been what it brought it back from the void....maybe. I do agree that her armor sounds suspiciously like Samson's. The fact that lyrium could very well be alive is out standing! I wonder what this could possibly mean!?

I really loved the last conversation you have with Solas before the final battle, as I was playing a qunari it was incredibly moving. I can only imagine what it's like for a romanced inquisitor. And someone pointed out to me a party banter between Solas and Cole where I remember Blackwall saying he was clueless about what they were talking about (as was I) which in hindsight was talking about Solas' past.
Bioware have really tied together a lot of this elven lore amazingly well. Clever peeps.

Banalhan: "The place of nothing" DA Wiki translates it as a name for the Blight or its place of origin.
That sounds pretty void-y to me. The word could be corrupted from its original meaning, much like "harellan," but it seems a little on the nose for that.

Thanks for this! Oh yeah, it's far far worse for us, but..it's also one of the best scenes in the game which everyone seems to be in agreement with. I'd recommend it to anyone, it's very much worth getting your soul shattered into tiny fragments and scattered to the four winds...

Hmm, btw. Did you guys notice?
We've all become a lot more optimistic about the idea of a DLC, can anyone guess why?
It seems like I, and many others here, are quite certain that there would be a DLC
I feel it in my gutssss
My hopeful delusional gutssss
I was optimistic at first but nw pessimism is creeping I fear my Lavellan wont get closure(I blame tumbler for that) DX. Even more crazy..I am starting to feel the Inquisitor is going to die in an expansion or something:( What is wrong with me t.t
