@Dracarys I loved the part 1 to it as well. Especially the fact that things were quiet so we could hear the companions talking and the sound effects. I am really looking forward to part 2. 
btw Does anyone have a guess on who could be voicing Solas?
Someone who can art should really draw Solas flinging fireballs while reading a book!
I keep thinking Solas may be sweet-tempered, a little absentminded in the way brilliant people can be, more inclined to peaceful solutions if they can be found, fiercely loyal to his friends once you finally gain his trust, and of course, have a dry, sly sense of humor that will often escape the more brash companions. Even from the art we have so far, his body language (I'm probably reading too much into it, but what the hell, SPECULATION IS LIFE) suggests he's a thoughtful listener who might hang back while everyone says his or her piece, then give an opinion. I also think his abilities may include summoning some of his "friends" in the Fade to fight for him...which would be a really cool ability.
Also, I'm a little late on this, but that demo video rocked. I get giddy every time I see Redcliffe. I turn into an overexcited six-year-old yelling "Look you guys look I was there one time LOOK YOU GUYS WOW!"

I'm a little curious as to how similar the Solas we saw in the war room concept art is to the Solas we're going to see in the game. From the character interview, I'm not sure if he's the smirky type. But, hey, maybe I'm wrong. (I hope I'm wrong.)

This actually makes me think that he might have a surprising sense of humour. I would love it if he had some dry humour to him. I can picture many of the companions being like "I don't get it".

I keep having these mental images of Solas giving Sera a terribly hard time without her even realizing. Poor Sera. She's adorable. 
I could also see Solas burning Iron Bull with some stealthy insults I'm not sure if Iron Bull could be riled up by something like that, but with Solas' love of free thought I bet he could throw some wicked anti-Qun barbs that the Bull might not pick up on until later.

Haha knowing Patrick Weekes he is bound to have some type of sense of humour. In my earlier posts I said if I had to compare him to any Mass Effect character it would be Mordin.

After listening to an hour+ of Welsh accents last night I'd giggle if he sang a little ditty and it became less and less intelligible as it went on In several of the interviews I listened to the speaker's accent became heavier the longer they spoke and they'd start randomly slipping into Welsh, it was pretty cute
Edit: It wouldn't be too out there for Solas to know/sing an interesting song or two. He spends his time "searching for memories and knowledge that have been lost for ages" so I'm sure he's come across a song or two sifting through other peoples' experiences

Dirty limericks and drinking songs in a language that's been dead for a few thousand years. Nobody else understands what Solas is going on about, or why he sounds like a nug gargling marbles but rest assured they're absolutely filthy.
Hmmmm... all this negativity... I'm getting the itch to write some more small Solas crack fic stuff again.

Catching him singing something could potentially be a very interesting way to get to know him better.

That would make for some amazing banter, particularly if he sang in an old language he heard in the Fade. A little while later, and Sera and Bull are trying to pry a translation out of him.
