I like what you say but I would put it on a longer time frame... Solas starts to connect ot others through interactions. I think he would change, or grow since ts in a positive direction, if he wouldnt slam the door on everything with that plan of his.
Its like .human' Solas almost gets there, specially with the romance, then ... bam! 'God' Solas takes over and he has to fix old mistakes.
I think what comes next will decide if he completes a 'growth' arc of a 'fall back' one.
I think you conveyed what I think I meant. I think any growth that is there is very subtle and hasn't quite bloomed yet (what kind of sap am I to make plant comparisons)? I think his interaction with others has affected him, or has at least planted a seed in him (there I go again). I do think scintilla is right that the Inquisitor is the biggest deciding factor since he will fall back on his Ancient Society Superiority stereotyping if he doesn't like them, but I'd like to think that in the long run he'll be thinking of the others as well. Especially if his character arc does involve growth. He does tell Blackwall he'll remember the people.
