Yeah, I'd be a bit worried if Fenris showed up. I mean, first off, why isn't he with my Hawke?! He can't leave my poor little Hawkey alone, he'd be lost with out Fenris!
 
Secondly, what if he looked to different? Frostbite 3 is gorgeous, but so far a lot of old characters look real different, and I'm not sure I'd like that with Fenris, I loved how he looked too much. Shallow, I know.
 
And thirdly, I'd be too scared something could happen to him... nope, do not want that... 

I might be alone in saying Id LOVE to see how ridiculously hot the new engine would make Fenris. I mean the engine is soooo gorgeous and Fenris was super hot with DA2 engine, imagine what he'd look like in a uber better engine? Omg... The swooning. If he does appear, I'm with you on the he better freaking mention my Hawke the love of his life.

Solas is just so cool ... i didnt like him at first ... but then they announced him and wrote something about him and i loved it .. he was a must-have ... before him they released Cole ... i wanted Cole really badly .. but he didnt really fit into my firt party Cass,Viv,Cole ... and then Solas came out -> Cole,Solas, Cass ... and i was like ,, cas might not like them at all .. who do i take .. someone who wouldnt care that much oh grey wardens dont care that much it might be Blackwall'' ... but then again Cassandra is badass and cool and i dont know much about Blackwall besides what devs wrote ... what do u think, which party would be better - Solas,Cole. Blackwall or Solas,Cole, Cass?

Solas seems so chill, but I can't help thinking about how he's going to find us. Does he just pop up in our dreams one day to offer his aid when we've gotten powerful enough for him to decide we've a chance to fix this mess? Does he show up at the Keep asking to study our hand one day at random? Does he track us down to some ancient ruins when he hears we're in the area?

As I recall, it was said that we would have to seek out our followers, and that if we didn't, we would simply never meet them otherwise. So, with that in mind, I feel that maybe we'd find him in mid Fade-trippin' near a Tear - perhaps curiosity brings him there - and then something happens, he sees our handy power (I'll see myself out), and he becomes interested in accompanying us. For science.

From his summary, it sounds like Solas sees what's going on and knows that his knowledge could be useful. I assume he starts seeking out whoever is out there and trying to put a stop to it. You may be right. From the interview it seems like it's been implied that if there is something terrible happening, he will bring himself up to leaving his way of life if it means stopping it. Solas could know the effects of these fade tears and maybe have a clue as to how it is happening. I could definitely see him trying to do all he can to stop it and he just happens to meet the Inquisiyion at or near a fade tear so it could be how we will meet up with him.

I think people may have gotten confused with the twitter comment that was given, the day Gwendoline came in for her voice work. The term "Horns up" is a metal (heavy metal music) term, and is often accompanied with this sign:


So it most likely was just him (whoever the dev was that posted it), was showing his enthusiasm.
