if we have to choose between Morrigan and Solas.

I also think a big revelation is that Solas is trying to save the elven people. There was some doubt that that was really his goal.

In fact... I love this snippet. I want it to be real, as long as it's developed in a way that respects our choices. I have high hopes that Bioware has learned from past experience, both DA and ME, in order to do that.

I don't agree. In fact I think most of his actions and dialogue point to that, and the only thing that doesn't are his statements on Briala which I think people exaggerate/ misinterpret.

I can start another thread to discuss the spoiler, I guess.

I'm just thinking people who aren't Solas regulars would also be interested, but I'll hold off, especially before we know it's legit.
 
Someone a few pages back mentioned the On Skyhold codex entries. It seems to me that this translation of an elven text could be setup for a DLC.

I was suggesting making an entirely different thread.

That line sounds to me like a setup for the player perspective on an event. You can see it as either a victory or threat, and freedom as either a good thing or horrible thing.

You must be a perfectionist like me then XD I tried out some new characters and end up playing the first few hours of the game so many times I even remember all the location of the minerals and herbs lol Now I dump them all to replay my Lavellan playthrough 

 

Yes, I have to have the character just so or I can't get into it.  I struggled with all three games and this Lavellan is my absolute fav of my characters, though my Hero will always have a special place.

 

But...wow, I just woke up and you guys write so much whilst I am away!  My brain is foggy but during my sleep I finally have an answer to yesterdays question about what Solas would have as a modern day job and it became clear to me, a tattoo removal technician.  It's fast and painless.

Hm. But it's inevitable/threatened not threat/victory. It's also not a good/bad dichotomy with freedom. It's promised and/or horrible. There aren't any positive descriptors in there.

That's a good point,he'd make an excellent tattoo removal technician.It kind of makes me feel really bad for the Dalish,facial tattoos are extremely painful to have in the first place.And then realising that after going through all this pain and effort,that they were originally slave markings.
