I remember the first time I heard Charlie I was like ok what did I just watch and I had it stuck in my head for 2 days. 

 

My friend and I quote it all the time. When we go out, we always yell: "LET'S GO ON AN ADVENTURE CHARLIE."

 

I also say it after choosing my companions in the character selection screen. :|

 

 

Oh! What if it's cut content from choosing the Templar quest line? If you die during a certain key point in the quest, there's a slide that comes up that details how your Inquisition turned to evil. What if there was supposed to be a short cutscene before that slide where the Inquisitor does that "help me D:" dialogue, Solas asks what's wrong, then the "nothing, I'm fine :|" dialogue is Envy fully taking over?

 

I actually hated it that Solas or even Viv didn't flip. Or any of the companions for that matter. The mental battle may have taken only a second, but a near-possession is cause for concern. Then the Inquisitor starts talking about a young man, and when he finally shows up no one questions it? As much as I love that quest, I felt like a little more could be done.

The Inquisitor probably shouts for Solas since he's the spirit expert. You'd think he would be able sense some weird **** happening. Could be they abandoned that early, and that's why there's no Vivienne.

Can you figure out how her unclear rambling may connect to these things?

Kieran mentions titans or something along those line to a drawf inquisitor.Perhaps drawves used to be different?

That is...very interesting. Lyrium is alive, and it gives templars their powers, and fuels mages, and is used to enchant items. Lyrium fuels magic. Red Lyrium opposes it. 

 

And where does magic come from...but the mage's connection to Fade.

So many things in this game makes you really really think and have more theories atm with all the stuff being talked about here and in the spoiler group its like Course I'm enjoying as I read and trying to ponder wtf it's headed

no idea but I imagine Bioware might get a **** storm hitting if it goes the one way I hope it doesn't especially with everyone who has romanced him or really loves his character

But that part, like at some point lyrium was part of their lives, connected them all, sort of a big hive mind? Maybe before what Solas did? :S

So, I was exploring in Emprise Du Lion the other day and ran into something interesting (though it might just be a random ambient line). 

Anyway, we were in a small little crossroad with pretty much nothing in it, running past really, and suddenly Solas says something like "I would prefer it if we did not linger here". He sounded a bit unsettled, and I thought it was strange because seriously, we were in the middle of nowhere. Well, at least that's what I thought until I looked up. 

 

How's it hanging, Falon;din?

 

I haven't heard Solas say anything similar when we've been near statues of the other Gods and I found his reaction to Falon'din's statue interesting.

I have a crazy theory that the war Solas mentions in the Temple of Mythal was really the beginning of the end for the Elvhen people. That Falon'din was the one who betrayed Mythal as revenge for how she shamed him and that Solas sealed the Creators in the Eluvian after that happened, to stop Falon'din.

 

Or, as I mentioned earlier, it could just be a random ambient line that means nothing.

Corypheus was evil. Solas is not. Ruthless, yes, but not evil. Which brings me to my next point:

Solas' romance was added last, and that has changed everything. Plus, not everything is set in stone. BioWare doesn't drop the ball when it comes to continuing a romance...so long as a pesky bug doesn't get in the way.

 

Leliana, Alistair, Zevran, Fenris, Anders, Isabela, Merrill: they are all referenced and said to still be in a relationship with their respected lover.

 

Morrigan, the big player, got a DLC where we could choose to walk away, stab her, or go with her. My buddy romanced Morrigan, was pissed about the Ritual and didn't do it, and he still went through the mirror with Morrigan. 

 

This is the type of thing BioWare does...and I hope they continue to do so when it comes to Solas. He's our Morrigan. One day he may mention that his vhenan is on a journey, and give a gentle smile when he says they will be together again soon. 

 

 

Yeah but it's not just Solasmancers. He is such a cool character.

yeah I got that line when I was in any area near the red lyrium hell even if I wasn't really close to it I still got it I was like wow ok Solas you're really freaking out about not wanting to linger very long in this area

Vivienne mentions not wanting to be around red lyrium as well. I'm not sure if Dorian does since I've never had him in my party in Emprise, but it'd likely that he does as well since he's a mage. I think they say it around big growths of red lyrium like in the picture, or in one of the places you can make camp with the huge growth on a hill.

I managed to complete one of the goals for my 2nd PT - create an armor with expensive **** that looks good on Solas so when he steals it at the end of the game I could get really mad at him.
