Hahahaha, I loved the awkwardness of it all.
So, I was exploring in Emprise Du Lion the other day and ran into something interesting (though it might just be a random ambient line).
Anyway, we were in a small little crossroad with pretty much nothing in it, running past really, and suddenly Solas says something like "I would prefer it if we did not linger here". He sounded a bit unsettled, and I thought it was strange because seriously, we were in the middle of nowhere. Well, at least that's what I thought until I looked up.
How's it hanging, Falon;din?
I haven't heard Solas say anything similar when we've been near statues of the other Gods and I found his reaction to Falon'din's statue interesting.

Right, I've been sliding down the slope towards team pessimism because Solas is so bloody adamant that it is over in everything he says - he's soooooo fatalistic it hurrrrts. So I've been making my brain do somersaults to find more positive spin...
...Flemeth seems to have knowledge of what is to come, she always has since DAO. We don't know how far in advance that knowledge comes but we know it is there. Solas, on the other hand seems to fly by the seat of his pyjamas, He doesn't seem to have the same talent for seeing the future as Flemeth, if he did, the world wouldn't be in the mess it is in. So this gives me a tiny twinkle of hope on this Christmas day! Solas could be wrong about there being no hope, having to be alone etc.... Please Bioware???

I thoguht it was related to the Red Lyrium Crystals. Because lingering near reaper artifacts demonic crystals is not healthy.

My thoughts exactly! And he says "for now", which means there might be more gifts coming... immortality?
I just woke up with this thought this morning...I wonder if there's anything in the game data or dev notes or wherever that spoilery info came from (obvs I have no clue about programming and whatnot) about that bugged personal quest of Solas'? The "What Lies Dormant" one? I've never had it trigger and as far as I can tell nobody has...and I can't help thinking that there's at least something interesting in that quest and at the most something important. I mean, we're running around the country, activating all these orbs, and to what end? And what about the title of that quest, what lies dormant? Well, Solas was lying dormant for centuries, right? What if our activating of all the orbs wasn't really doing what he says it was...what if we were helping him to tear down the veil without knowing it?
Ugh, I just hate that there's content out there about this egghead that we can't ever see, until I guess another patch comes out...maybe.
and what if you complete What Lies Dormant and by completing it Solas decides to not break Lavellan's heart into a billion pieces? A GIRL CAN DREAM RIGHT?

And it would be very telling if you load up DLC and see the choice of, "Did you sleep with Solas, and do you want a pregnancy?"

It's so weird (I usually understand her, but here she's worse than Cole, and I can understand Cole 80% of the time), I think there might be something hidden in her words.
Yeah, that was weird conversation. Dagna says she felt as big as a mountain but moving. To me that implies she felt like the entire world as it rotated. This seems to fit with the dwarven believe that they originated from the earth (stone).
There's also a banter between Solas and Cassandra (which I can't find) where he talks about her seeker abilities as making things more real. I'm assuming this is the natural opposite of mage powers which draw on the Fade where imagination rules.
So perhaps dwarves can't use magic or dream because their connection to the physical real world is too strong. Is it possible that elves are the opposite race? They always seem to be the sacrifice of choice for magical rituals. If that's true then maybe the whole spirit origin theory for elves isn't so far off. Solas's spirit friend did look and speak like an elf. I assumed she was just taking the form of what he expected her to look like, but maybe not.

Good luck!! I actually enjoyed my romance with Cullen. It was so sweet and happy ending like...but my heart belongs to Solas and I keep going back to him.. *sighs*

I saw something on tumblr last night about one person's theory about baby....In a way it makes sense that it would be the reason only a female elf can romance him and why that's important. But then why go to such lengths to make it ambiguous as to whether they actually had sexy time. Of course...my headcannon made plenty of opportunities for hot elf love....but not everyone enjoys dem broad elf shoulders like I do
