Given that Solas himself says that the gods were not really gods but merely exceedingly powerful elven mages who were members of the nobility and who ruled Elvenan probably nope- lacks the whole ancient elven thing, and the mage thing if you are playing rogue or warrior .. she would be no more so than the Hero of Fereldan who ended a Blight with Two Wardens, or The Champion who defeated the Arishok and kicked the Qunari out of Kirkwall

The Inquisitor, generally, is viewed as holy. There are many rumors circulating the Quizzy, beyond being Herald of Andraste (a rumer that doesn't go even if you insist you aren't >_>), there are rumors that Quizzy met Andraste in the fade. People view Quizzy's "luck" as miraculous, and after Quizzy closes the breach and defeats Corybla Quizzy is maybe even revered as a god, who knows? It is very much possible the elves will view Quizzy as a god if Quizzy is an elf.
It's like the Elvhen gods, they were but powerful elves, who were viewed as gods because of their powers.

This is my headcanon. Even if she does not get immortality, I like to think that the Dalish end up revering her as a legend/demigoddess. Apart from Fen'Harel, she mends the Fade! She saves the world! She re-discovers the Temple of Mythal! She potentially has the knowledge of the ancient elves! She's one of the People as far as the Dalish are concerned. And she does all this (in my PT) before she's 25!
Add onto that being the Beloved of Fen'Harel, and whatever she might do in the future...
If the Dalish don't revere her then I will be cross with them ![]()

I know this it out of left field but I just really want Lavellan to carve her own history and Fen'Harel is just a side detail of that. I want a "new" Elvehn empire to be made, learning from past mistakes.
The whole problem with what Solas was doing was trying to recover the past, a past that was filled with problems.

As much as Andraste as the Makers Bride I think? Maybe not now and not so much by humans, but the elves?
We don't know how Fen'Harels plans exactly look and how they will work out.
But assuming (TEAM OPTIMISM) Solas comes back, his plans work out and the elves benefit from them (and they come back together) I certainly believe she will become a minor goddess / Chosen One in her peoples memory.
Or: Solas and Lavellan, the new head of the pantheon? Nah maybe that's a bit far fetched. ;-)
If Solas does not come back, then I think she will become sort of a elven Paragon for her role as inquisitor.
Gods are made by stories, and Varric will write an awesome book about Lavellan.

It reminds of the question Solas asks, about the mark having any impact on Inquisitor's personality. So it *could* have altered her/him, right? Makes me think about semi-godhood.

I'm going to be stupid now, that.. Part with Anduril, it's fiction right?
You talk about it like it appeared in the codex/lore, I'm confused.

I don't think that will ever work. From what I saw, the elves turn out to be as power hungry, if not more then humans when they are placed in positions of power. Arlathan was destroyed by infighting, while the Dales was destroyed when they started an war with Orlais. I'm not sure if an elven empire will ever work. At best, people in the DA series should try to improve human and elf relations to allow more equality between races. It would certanly takes years. But I think it would work better on the long run. If you make Leliana divine, she already takes an step in that direction by allowing elves to become priests.

In The Masked Empire Felassan tells Briala a story called Fen'Harel and the Tree. He was hunting halla, Andruil got mad, she tied him up and decided to make him her sex slave for a year and a day. He got out of it when he tricked her and Anaris into battle and chewed his way free.

No that really "happened". It's a part of the fen'harel lore. He was hunting her Halla and she got mad and tied him to a tree and said he had to make love to her for a year and a day. I'm not a supporter of that kind of thing so my automatic reaction was I hated Andruil.

Hello all! I hope all of you that celebrated Xmas had a good one. My bf's gift to me was a puppy! Still figuring out a name for him. So far, I'm just going with Hercules 'cause his 'sister's name is Xena.
Still working on the fanart from before but had to put them outside. Hard to concentrate when you've got a little one running around wanting to "mark his territory" on everything in the house. Oy. ![]()

I don't know that Solas is trying to recover the past as it was though. I'm still in the camp that's hoping that what he's trying to do is actually the right thing to do, and not entirely misguided. He seems to acknowledge that Arlathan, the Elven Gods, and the old empire were all sorts of messed up, so I don't really see him being all "If I just put everything back the way it was it'll be great." He even says as much, if you choose the "restore the past" dialogue after the Temple he's a bit incredulous until you backpedal a little. I'd guess what he wants to restore are the metaphysical aspects that were lost in the past (i.e. the Fade and magic stuff), but not actually the empire that built up around it. In fact I think he'd be against a new Elven Empire. He's anti-establishment in general these days.
But...I agree about wanting Lavellan to be revered in her own right. Well...my ideal would be that their legends are linked sometimes but also separate. Like Dirthamen and Falon'Din

This is exactly what I would ideally want too. I still see my Inquisitor as wanting to return to her people, and I'd love it if she could convince Solas to stay in the mortal world, working to help the people living now rather than trying to recall the ancient empire. Maybe they could lead a movement to better unite the fractured Dalish tribes, and aid and welcome the city elves. He could simply be known as the Husband of the Herald, and only a very few would know her as the Wife of the Wolf.
I know this us waaaay too specific to my my very pro-Dalish Inquisitor (I even kept the valaslin), but something along more hopeful lines would be so nice.

I myself don't think I agree there was a breakup, in my understanding of the word. A breakup is when one of the pair decides they don't want to be together, falls out of love, leaves, then finds someone else. In my game, neither seemed to stop caring, and neither is going to find someone else(at least, I can't imagine Solas making out with some Tevinter girl in Dragon Age 5). They're just in different places. So, not a breakup.

The problem is that under the "slow & steady" system the elves are almost completely reliant on the kindness of humans to gain any power. Leliana is 1/3 possible Divines and the other two do not care about the elves. Briala can be executed, which makes the elves in Orlais pretty bad off. There is no system in place for elves to gain power other than to hope that some humans will be nice to them, and that later humans won't decide "screw that" a few years down the road (case in point: the elves got the Dales from Andraste and then a few centuries later Orlais was all NOPE). If Leliana is Divine and Briala is still around, I think the elves of southern Thedas have a chance to gain some ground, but only if they take the opportunity they have and seize enough power that future leaders cannot renege on their promises in the future. Someone needs to make an Anders-level move IMO. I don't know that I see it happening though.

That would probably be Solas with the whole taking down the Veil, restoring the ancient elves, raising Arlathan from the sea and restoring the magic and immortality of existing elves-- that would definitely be an Anders level move... esp that combined with Briala controlling Orlais via Gaspard or Celene, elf Quizzy, and elf HOF who will probably end up First Warden if you sacrifice Stroudistairghain and the HOF lived or if the Orlesian Warden researching a cure for the Taint/Calling is Andras would definitely tilt things in the elves favor pretty majorly.

Since it's a tweet and doesn't have any context/tone I think it could come off as a bit confrontational...? It's the second part: "we're not taking this brk up happily" like "we aren't going to take this lying down" kind of deal. The writers/editors/devs get a lot of crap from angry fans and they might default to thinking you're acting entitled even if that's not your intention (and I don't think it is). Maybe change the second half to something you want to see? Or talk about hearts breaking or something? "Solas fans need a Happy ending, our hearts can't take any more sadness" or "[...], hope it happens so we can rejoice!"
Really you can say whatever you want, but that's my two cents >.>
