Still catching up, hope this hasn't been posted- but can you imagine how pissed off the other Elvhen gods would be if Solas made Lavellan a goddess?

There are a lot of wolf statues in this game. Fen'Harel.
There are a lot of owl statues in this game. Falon'Din. Anyone think he'll play a role eventually? Am I the only one that feels like they might be foreshadowing?

I don't think they have a choice. The Quizzy absorbed at least some of the "god" power, and the orb power had to have gone somewhere.

Lol. There's a lot of wolves and mentions of the Dread wolf in DAO and DA2. They've gone overboard with the foreshadowing.

I like the lighting in this part of his personal quest.
Poor distraught Solas ;(
Trying again. Solas looks so fit in that second gif.

depends on what is a goddess. All the various spirits, such as solas's spirit of wisdom could conceivably be a minor deity in their own right. My question is: what would Lavellan be a goddess of? what aspect or thing would she be dealing with?

The owl is the symbol of Falon'din?

Yep.
They also have that talk about how Falon'Din was vein and Mythal attacked him in his own temple. I know others have suggested he might have something to do with her death.

Only if those spirits are behind a mirror, somehow. The more straightforward theory (and that doesn't make it right) is somewhere in the Eluvian network.
It's like trying to put together a puzzle with only half the pieces.
Most of the pieces you got don't connect, while the half you are missing are mainly pieces from the middle :|
You really can't get the right picture.
It'll be so strange for such a wise character to go on and do something so silly as to bring slavery back by freeing the Elvhen pantheon :<
Unless they give a good enough explanation, otherwise I'd probably be like

I thought it was a twin soul with Dirthamen and that their relationship is closer then brothers?

Uploaded the videos of the cutscene where you find Solas during In Hushed Whispers.
This is the one with the "you look bad" option. Featuring the Inquisitor making an utterly heartbreaking face.
-snip-
And this is the one where Solas has that line about making mistakes.
-snip-
This quest gets to me every time.
-heartbreak all over-
Edit: He is still. So. Handsome.

Twin souls, twin brothers same thing (not really).
Maybe they're the same person, even. Who knows.

If that is the statue I am thinking of it also had a huge deposit of red lyrium encrusted all over it --- and all my mages got really uncomfortable near it.. not just Solas. Dorian was all "Can we leave now please?" and Vivenne was acting like a six year old girl in a daycare center with only boys in it (ewww coooties)

hehehe...in The Exalted Plains there's an area over by the camp near the beach, if you go over by the water, Cole says, "I've never been swimming." Just the way he says it is so cute. I want to take him swimming!!! Ok...I'm done..

He sort of implies that, even with slavery, he thinks things were better in the past. Still pretty messed up but it's better than what they have now. It's not like the current elves are really free and they have no idea what they may have lost.
As for wisdom, well, he did give the orb to Corypheus. And jellobell just posted that video of him admitting he keeps screwing up hugely. He very seriously lacks foresight, I think.

This is one of my favorite theories. I think Falon'Din will be relevant coming up. He's also supposed to be a dreamer, right?

I wonder if there will be an option in DLC for the Quizzie to take Mythal's god-powers in lieu of Morrigan. Apparently it isn't restricted to elves, since she was going to give it to very-human Morrigan. I could see that being sort of interesting.

Emprise du Lion is overflowing with owl statues, as well as Emerald Graves.
By the way - Emprise du Lion, the is small cave with a pyramid that says "DON'T TOUCH THE PYRAMID" and if you look above you there are people dangling from the ceiling, frozen. Is that a reference to something I don't understand? I seriously jumped on the pyramid a whole minute or so to see if something happens XD

Well Cory wants to rule over people as their new god. Kinda hard to do that when everyone's getting slaughtered by demons. I'll have to do the quest again to be sure, but I got the impression from Alexius's diary that Cory didn't like how things turned out.
And wasn't the breach an accident in the first place?
He's ultimate goal is enter the fade physically and claim his goodhood, but it seems that without the anchor he found no alternative way to achieve it, even in the future which he has triumphed over Thedas. I think he demands Alexius to reverse time just to get the anchor back.

This is why he needs his Quizzy- not only does she have the anchor for his foci that he will need if he is to make a new one-- she is training under the tutelage of some of the best tacticians in Thedas.. He can make the big plans- she can hammer out the details to make sure they work out the way he intends them to
