All that I can gleen from the demo is that he made a big whoopsie and the Inquisitor has to fix it.

He might be one of many causes ... anyway i think they have put too much spoilers in there ye ... and what would have happened if there wasnt Dorian with the party? ... does it mean that we would just kill Alexius and nothing else would happen?

The Bull looks like an amazing tank.  I love watching him fight.  Was on the edge of my seat for that entire end bit...how does it play out? How else can we have it play out? WHY IS IT NOT OCTOBER YET? Also...

He kept shouting about The Elder One, who I expect he's been working for. Must be a demon/ancient, corrupted magister/Big Bad Thing...and it probably has other agents working for its ends, not just Alexius

Omg they all look amazing! And Dorian?! Oh Dorian you will be mine. That voice! He sounds familiar, you're right but I can't associate his voice to anyone else right now. I ll listen to him again and again.

Really can't wait to see how Solas looks and talks in game .

Oooh yes, I was surprised by his voice, it sounds not at all how I imagined it, but I like it a lot, he earned a spot in my party when I'm not playing a mage inquisitor

All that talk about the Elder One really made me curious though, I guess he's the big bad then? Though it sounds more like he's some sort of half monster/abomination/demon thing instead of a human, kind of like the Architect? That's what reminded me a bit of the way they spoke about him. And dang, Leliana was NOT pleased... She scared me a bit..

Leliana is definitely scarier. Of course...the situation has probably affected her mood somewhat.  

 

EDIT: Also, wow, does she ever hate Dorian.  I do think it makes sense for Leliana to be harder and a little more bitter in this game. Origins was a long time ago.

Hmm, the only British voice actor I can think of with a silmilar voice atm is Ben Kingsley, but I'm not sure its right... not that I'm obsessively listening to Dorian's lines trying to work out why I recognize his voice...   (seriously, though, I'm usually really good at recognizing voices, and it really bugs me when I can't place one)

What if Dorian wasnt in the party? ... or is he locked for the mission like Varric was for Deep roads?

EDIT: anyway Dorian is a lot cooler than i  thought he would be

You can choose who to bring but if a character has a special connection to that particular quest you might miss things if you don't bring them along.

Trial and error, A LOT of it. Like always when playing new games for the first time (which is pure anguish sometimes for a perfectionist like me)

SAME. I'll be hours in each area just trying to find all the loot, because obviously, it's not just that I have to play everything out just right, I also have to find all the things. My husband has occasionally watched me play, and the fact that I take my sweet time is something he seems to find physically painful. Of course, this is the guy who I once found staring at the screen grumbling about how none of the Dalish would let him buy anything because they were all mad...opening that locked chest in the middle of the camp in front of everybody and then stealing their crap will do that.

I tell you, watching the second video gave me chills. The combat looks awesome, and dammit, how am I going to decide between playing a rogue or a mage first? And I don't even like playing spellcasters in games. That was just too badass.

 

I wonder if any other trailers or demos will be released before launch... you know. Showing other companions. Like Solas. And Cole. That would be awesome. But then so would waiting and being surprised by it the first time around...

 

So much indecision today.

Edit: I suspect the advisors won't really be able to die, at least, until the end because of how important they are. I do suspect that senfing the on missions like this and things going bad will make them a little bitter towards you. What I am wondering is whether or not we can send companions who are not traveling with us at the time on missions like this. Sending companions like Cole or Solas on missions like the one in the second part of the demo seems like it would be better or it could just be that Leliana was not prepared enough. Maybe we can increase the chances of a mission going successful if we upgrade the advisors in a way like sending troops or other agents to help them.

How do you think we'll meet Solas? I like the idea of meeting him in the Fade for the first time. Though I'm not sure if it's possible for two different persons to meet there if they aren't physically at the same place.

 

Another idea is that we are going to investigate a fade tear and solas got there first (or the other way around)
