Oh no i'm feeling the fanfic being birthed somewhere. it's so wrong but i need to read it. it calls to me like the darkspawn taint.

I looked up dlc time tables....seems 3-4 months is standard for waiting for a dlc it seems....slow torture and death it is.
FYI- Any pregnant Lavellans need Cole as babysitter.....because he would be hilarious....
You guys, this thread is distracting me from playing my Trevelyan. Why can't I flirt with HIM?! /weeps
I started a new game INTENDING to play a Qunari warrior. Instead, I created another elven mage. You can guess the rest. They say insanity is repeating the same action and expecting a different outcome. Now, I'm not going in expecting another result, but apparently I've got the repetition part down.
After reading a particularly brilliant fic that placed Solas in the time of Arlathan, in the midst of his turn to rebellion, the character of Andruil was portrayed as a vengeful, jealous, spiteful biznatch.
So on that note, if she is to be our next antagonist, bring it on... if she's anything as horrid as I imagine her to be, then she would bring the right kind of wrong to the next chapter of Thedas' fate.
What's your theory on that?
When Solas asks what you will do with the power of The Well of Sorrows, if you choose to share it option he talks about being betrayed and what not and very clearly says he can"... remember the angles of HER face...". Anyways, the reason I believe it is Ghilan'nain, is because she is the only elven god that was not original. She was one of the people and brought into the fold. I think they shared their powers with her, and she betrayed them in some way.
Oh god, I just bought the battlemage mail from the dog vendor in the hissing wastes. Solas needed new armor and it was only 1500 gold. But when I put it on him I noticed that the cloth was this burgundy crushed velvet flower pattern. So that plus the fur makes him look like he's wearing something made out of a couch you'd get at goodwill.
Totally fits, though. Vivienne's going to have to get the fainting couch when I bring him back to skyhold.

Hello people!
Just catching up to the thread. It got a little rough a few pages back...I like it better when we all get along :'(
Come! Let common love of Solas bring us together! We will fly off on our Griffons to a land of starlight and rainbows!
Huh... I missed the part where we weren't all frolicking in fields of rainbow-colored wolf pelts, exchanging wise and brooding glances at one another, in HIS honor. ![]()
I'm obviously living in ignorant, Solas-fueled bliss. ![]()

I thought the "angles of her face" comment was just Solas personifying the act of betrayal or something. It would be interesting if he meant someone in particular, though, because it would at least be a hint of who (or at least someone) did the betraying in Arlathan.

I was suppose to be playing ME1 remastered, but nooo, I'm here making stupid comments.

Yeah, it's interesting, I've been thinking about how to reconcile the two codex stories about Ghilan'nain, and make sense of how she would evolve from a powerful, but rather callous actor into a passive figure who achieves apotheosis purely through her virtue/devotion to Andruil.

I think he's speaking in metaphor. In art and literature, virtues/faults are often depicted as female and it appears to be the same in Thedas. It's just the way he talks. He means he knows betrayal all too well.
Has anyone seen the video of the Back mask at the Well of Sorrows? Do you think it has anything to do with solas?

I got the vibe he was speaking from experience and there was a definite someone because it. However, it is just a theory >.<. I definitely believe that our next either DLC or game will have a godly antagonist of some type. I also wonder how many dark rituals Flemythal has done? How many old god spirits are floating around out there having been reborn? Granted, there is not any proof of this, sense I think all grey wardens who have killed arch demons have died. Another thing I am curious about, is if they are going to address the other conscious darkspawn. I wonder if that is what is going on in epilogue with the grey wardens?!
Sadly......I have way more questions they opinions on this it seems.

Hey that's me! I posted that here when I first made it.
This is surreal.

Wow, that is creepy....and yes it very well could be talking about Solas, but I am not sure how the calling could be related...
