Ignorance is bliss my friend...well expect for Lavellan. Solas ended her Solas filled bliss early.

Many forum moons ago people were talking about their perfect Solas+Lavellan ending. I never posted mine because everyone was being serious and mine involves the absolute perfect Thedas fantasy world!
There are griffons and acceptance of all peoples and rainbows and wonderfulness!

Yeah I'm pretty unabashed about just wanting them to shoehorn in a disgustingly happy ending where happy!Solas and happy!Lavellan are happy together so I can stop thinking about how sad their romance is in its current (liminal??) state.  Sort of like Jane Eyre.  Everyone has suffered/atoned enough OKAY.

Wow, that is creepy....and yes it very well could be talking about Solas, but I am not sure how the calling could be related...

Oh god, I just bought the battlemage mail from the dog vendor in the hissing wastes. Solas needed new armor and it was only 1500 gold. But when I put it on him I noticed that the cloth was this burgundy crushed velvet flower pattern. So that plus the fur makes him look like he's wearing something made out of a couch you'd get at goodwill. Totally fits, though. Vivienne's going to have to get the fainting couch when I bring him back to skyhold.

Vivienne: Maker's breath dear, where in the world did you find that ghastly outfit?

Solas: i repurposed the material from when you reupholstered your fainting couch. I had no idea that they were good for only one use.

I need to find the screenshot, but I made Solas wear this awful set of Battlemage Mail made out of King's Willow Weave and Plaidweave. It basically looked like this with a matching Orlesian Mage Hat:

At this point I'd be satisfied if after everything is said and done and we never get the chance to see Solavellan in action again (supposing Solas lives) he at least says something like "My heart, I have to go see her, I've got some splainin' to do." Ambiguity would be better than tragedy or nothing.

So, since most people here don't do playthroughs where Solas hates you, I figured I'd share - It's the post-temple of Mythal conversation, where Solas is pissed at you for drinking from the well, with an Inquisitor who he had his max disapproval conversation with. 

 

 

The most interesting part to me is "You see power as little more than a larger weapon. I look forward to seeing the price you pay."

 

...it's gonna suck for this Inquisitor if Wolf Hunt happens...

I wonder if Solas sees a bit of himself in the Inquisitor. He's tried to change the world before to help his people, and it backfired in the worst way possible.

Two things: 

 

1. So, there are questions floating around as to what kind of goddess Lavellan would be if she were to ascend into "god-hood". I've decided she would represent rebirth. Because what comes after any rebellion? A rebirth...for good or ill.  

 

2. I think my game glitched to where I could not select all the codexes at the Well of Sorrows about the elven pantheon. Did they confirm that the gods actually spirits, or is that just a theory floating around?

I think it's just what Solas says "I believe they were real, but not that they were gods. Maybe elves, spirits, or something you've never seen before." Or something along those lines.
