So, does anyone else get a sad vibe from the romance track now, even when pursuing other romance options? I'm getting that while trying Cullen's romance with my human mage :/
You are always going to find some really questionable stuff in fanfiction. Sometimes people are just trolling, or it really is something they are into. Sometimes people are just working through problems, and they fixate upon characters they enjoy. I wouldn't worry too overly much about anything that's out there. It will always be out there.
Doesn't make accidentally stumbling upon them any less squick, unfortunately.

Im thinking Cass because she and my Lavellan have gotten pretty close. They both have a tie to traditions but want some change, women of action and all, not afraid to say it if theyre wrong. I head canon her as my Lavellan confident even if she probbly doesnt have much insight on Solas, she would respect Lavellan's choice.
Then Cole cause thats where all the insight comes from. I made him more human post breakup, so well see if it affects anything. Im a bit afraid he would sacrifice himself/ something important to get Lavellan and solas back together... being Compassion and all.
Solas is my main mage, so I guess i would replace him with Dorian for that, but if its possible to run a full rogue party then Ill take Varric. I jsut love his leve-headness. Hes very grounding to my Lavellan and reminds her not to cringe at all the bs, but in a more mature way them Sera.

I said I wasn't going to write any more fanfiction for Dragon Age, but you should never say never. Anyway here's my contribution to the Solavellan bandwagon. It would qualify as fluffy and sobby, I think. Also NSFW. Pretty straightforward romantic smut so I doubt it will traumatize anyone.
I did take a lot of liberties with elvish, so if anyone has suggestions on improvement, I'd be happy to hear them. Preferably here in PM rather than in reviews since reviews are forever.

I'm thinking a similar makeup for the same reasons. Also, Dorian and my Lavellan are good friends too.
The only problem I might have with bringing Cass, though, is that even though she's a romantic and good friends with my Inquisitor-- I'm afraid she might try to kill Solas after her little spat with Varric o.o

I'm sorry I just couldn't stand knowing about it alone. It hurts. And though I haven't read it and never will this is exactly what I don't like about the Solavellan fic fandom. They take the wolf and domination thing way too far. But I said I didn't want to get into it again why do I keep bringing it up gah. I should just go look at that pretty, intimate picture with the boobies again.

The third is a toss up for me. I mean technically I need a heavy, but I prefer to choose people based on dialogue. So I'd go with Vivienne, because between her and Dorian I would get a hell of team sass to taunt Solas with.

I think I'd take Cass, Cole, and Dorian as well. Cole is a given and Dorian is awesome. Whether I have Cass or not depends on whether they will let us if she becomes Divine. If any potential Solas related DLC takes place before the ceremony I'll take Cass. If not it'll be Iron Bull.

Not sure, My default team is usually Solas + Cole + Blackwall + me(mage Knight Enchanter). As my inquistor suprisingly got along with Dorian, and he is well just awesome, I would probaly have him till I get solas back. Cole for the same reason as you said, and blackwall has been my main tank and freind to my lavellan, despite his past.

I did What Pride Had Wrought last night on my Cullen romance character, and then did my usual, run around to all my companions to check in on conversations (still haven't gotten the damn Wicked Grace scene!). Of course I visit Solas first.
I got back to the war table and when the advisers all walked up, I was like, "****! I forgot to check on Cullen!"
So I guess that's how other romances compare to Solas, to me at least. I completely forget I'm in them, and still just bother Solas all the time.
