The Amulet of the Packmaster that you get from that one wolf quest in the Hinterlands is supposed to have that effect but only in the Hinterlands.
Having the amulet work in places outside the Hinterlands would be like the best bug ever though, wouldn't it?
Thanks! I never got them to follow me in The Hinterlands, only Crestwood. They even followed me into the cave area where Hawke was waiting. I must experiment more. They are so precious. :3

I didn't know what was going to happen in a spoilers way, but I had a very strong feeling and theories for a very long time, and most of it came true. It actually flew over my wildest expectations. (Ancient elf behind everything? Maybe. Elven god? Fen'Harel? Falon'Din? Maybe, but now I'm really letting my fancies get carried away...) I suspected what was going to happen, and I wanted it. Even if it was a sad ending, I wanted it. My canon romances were never involved in the big plot romances, and this was amazing. So that's why I can't really complain. My preference was to romance Solas with a male elf, but the story turned out so well I have no complaints there either (although I'm still not sure why he couldn't have been romanced by a male elf as far as story is concerned, but maybe we'll find out eventually...and the way the romance plays out, it's actually very easy to play your Inquisitor as vaguely gendered). So I was suspicious of Solas pretty much the entire time, and I felt from the beginning that Lavellan couldn't keep him, but it was always worth it. I would still like her to know the truth and have some closure though, if nothing else.

Don't feel bad for feeling these things guys. They may be fictional characters, but the emotions they elicit are real. I know it's hard, I'm still going through it, but none of you are alone in it.

This, i think is the exact moment I realized what what happened and it hit me.
In my game, I had the subtitles on. Solas always called my Inquisitor "Lethallan" pre-romance (or during romance but not officially romanced, or... you know). It didn't sound like "lethallin" to me, even. You could have a glitch going on...
Ah, no, this is exactly what I was wondering! Thank you! 
He's actually never called any of my Lavellans "lethallan"--the only time he called either of them "lethallin" was during the pre-Skyhold conversation, where he talks about the Orb. (He goes straight from "Inquisitor" to "my heart" in my playthroughs, haha...) I just didn't know if he ever actually called them "lethallan," because I was pretty sure that's how it was supposed to be, but the Orb conversation/Minaeve threw me off.
I will eventually...maybe...since someone told me I was supposed to draw some smutty stuff since I don't write it. Nothing at the moment though. And the smut may even have to wait because a drawing of a gentle, loving kiss on the forehead needs to be drawn first. Because....reasons.

This happened to me too! It was after I dealt with the demons in Crestwood, I thought that was the reason they were friendly all of a sudden...

It was pretty great, though. I had Solas with me, of course. Even got some pictures.
Thedas wolves are HUGE.
EDIT: Just noticed that we have the same party configuration. 
Maybe it's the combination of Solas, Cole, and Cass that attracts the wolves.
Hey guys, just caught up but is it too late to talk about Cole?
Whatever, I'm a going to add my two cents...
I chose to make Cole human, though I did not make it lightly. Seriously I had to take almost a full day to decide and even then I'm not sure if it was right. But my reasoning was that Cole greatest fear was that he would hurt people again. Like he did when he first came through the Veil. Even before the mission he makes you promise that you will kill him if he goes down that road again(and if you don't you get a massive disapproval hit).
So with that in mind, I chose to make him human. Because then he will retain the lessons he has fought so dearly for. We are given no assurances that spirit-Cole won't revert back to mercy-killing and misunderstanding situations and pain. I feel like Cole (as we meet him and before the change) would not want that.
Of course I understand the spirit choice as well and I can't help feeling that is actually the "right" one. I don't need Cole to be human to relate to him. I just don't want him to lose himself again and force us to make good on that promise. Spirits in the living world do not have an excellent track record of staying true to their purpose and Solas is going bamf out and not help him stay pure.
It's probably going to be a while before we get any DLC..but I hope they at least fix the Solas quest glitches and bugs soon!! I keep hearing that there was supposed to be another quest for him that isn't working.

I am well past the point of insanity where I am convinced that every snippet of dialogue and codex relates to Fen'harel or the other gods.
I mean not every piece ... but most of them.
There is no plot anymore only Solas!
