My husband looked at me today and goes, "Whatcha doin'?  Still reading...?"  I twitched a little, shyly replied yes, felt my face turn hot, then defensively (and preemptively) shouted "THERE'S A WHOLE GROUP ONLINE THAT UNDERSTANDS ME, SO IT'S NOT JUST ME.  The story is really powerful, and Solas broke our hearts, and we're trying to find a way to recover and you could never understand because you're so analytical and..."

 

... and that's when I realized that I have lost my damn mind.

I'm really glad that significant others can realize that no matter how much we obsess, we will love our SOs more. And I think part of the reason I love Solas so much is because he's wrapped up in a mystery. And I just want to figure it out and find him. It's a romantic way of looking at it, really.

Also that Judas was not exactly a betrayer. There was a passage that said Jesus told Judas to betray him. That this needed to be done to save everyone.

I swear I read that in some contexts, the "male" version of that word can also be used between those more closely connected, or intimate.  While in the more formal aspect, "lethallin" would be used for a male, and "lethallan" for a female.  Just like how we use terms of identity differently with those we are closely acquainted with.

 

He called my male elf "lethallan" after the Fade.  That was awkward.  

 

I figured it was just another scripting error, and I have to admit that I'm getting tired of those.

I think it spares them from unreasonable romantic expectations that society puts on couples. We can act out all our unhealthy and insane romances and come back to them normal.

Ya know..it's nice to find people who are as obsessed..perhaps even more so...about a character as I am. I made a picture of Solas and Lavellan a cover on my Facebook page..and a few people liked it..but no one know what it was a picture of.  Made me a little sad..I have no friends who have played this game yet. I used to talk about this things with my ex...but..he's not in my life anymore. I'm glad I found all of you. You don't judge me!!!  :-P

FYI, I finally designed a dress using the colors and general style of the Orlesian noble outfit, cutting it into bits, moving things around, and making it into an acceptable dress. Once I finish the tasty picture....I will be sharing.

I hate that outfit so bad. I had to design something. I wanted to use the original design to show it doesn't need to have a complete design difference from the male outfit. So I kept the collar, removed the back, ruffled out a dress bottom, kept the sash....it's very nice....very nice indeed. And very fitting for an Orlesian fancy party.

 

 

So would that make us .... Sister-wives? 

 

Hmmm, We could alternate days. And argue over who has the broodier baby....
