That must be why the text only say "may die" instead of "will die" during that one quest. ...And also why Hawke likes Fenris so much. :B
Oh my gosh I am so curious about this! What'd you mean may die...may? May!
My Hawke lurves Fenris so much she's willing to give up her life to save a bunch of people she just met and spare a Grey Warden whose duty is to ultimately sacrifice themselves... oh wait. She actually loves him so much she's going to keep him safe by not having him along with her, because fighting Tevinter slavers is sooo much safer. In fact, I think it's all so much safer than the time Hawke took Fenris to the deep roads and fought ancient evils, or the time she brought him along to fight a dragon, or the time he helped her fight Qunari, or the other time when he felt obligated to fight the templars with her. I mean my Hawke is feels so guilty about releasing Corypheus that she swears to take him down only to go disappear on us before he's defeated. She also hates blood magic even though she supported Merrill and was good friends with her. Err, goodness Hawke, make up your mind!
I don't want history to repeat itself. No Andraste as Solas's lover please. I hate hate hate the idea of playing a romance where the character will just be a reflection of a past lover.
Yeah, I don't find the idea of reincarnation that romantic. I mean, I want you to love me for me, not for a memory of a love we shared in the past.

OK, that could just be coincidence, but if it's not-

I do get the feeling that a lot of the different mythologies in Dragon Age are more connected then we originally thought. Not sure if I believe Solas is the maker just yet, but his whole thing about a God not having to prove their power certainly fits.
(btw if people are posting their multiplayer accounts, I'm on origin as KelseyAmell! feel free to add me!)
BioWare already said they wouldn't confirm or deny the Maker. He is to close to real life God and it could offend people. Not that I think BioWare should be overly pandering but I like that the Maker is ambiguous. It leaves my characters questioning whether or not there is a higher power, something after death. Even my Lavellan isn't entirely dismissive of the idea of the Maker, and my Trevelyan rogue wants to believe but has a hard time understanding why any creator would leave in world in such despair.
Plus, if anyone is the Maker, it's definitely Sandal.
With that note, anyone else immensely disappointed they didn't run into Sandal and Bohdan at the Winter Palace? Can you guys imagine a conversation between Cole and Sandal O_O? I would pay to see that.
