I took a bad screenshot, but it's so funny I have to show it.
Ohhhhhhhhhh you found Solas O-Face!!!! ![]()
Here is what I'm trying to say:
So then who was phone little bald man.
Holla, ladies. I just wanna share an entry in my 'activating all the Solas's elven artifact' journey.
I accidentally soloed the level 21 Emprise du Lion Dragon today.
I was level 18 with the companions at level 17, was wondering around the area where the bridge was reconstructed when suddenly Solas went 'I sense an elven artifact nearby'. So I was like 'Yeah? Well buddy let's go get you your elven artifact fix now'. Then I climbed up this roundabout structure thinking the artifact must be somewhere up top. The moment I scaled the last step, there before my eyes, a great dragon butt with the red bar and level 21 on top of it.
Before I could say 'Solas you dog! That's not an elven artifact!', the dragon turned around and got the party started. Within the first 2 minutes, my squad mates were wiped out and I was fending off a herd of dragon babies. It was a bitter, drawn out fight that lasted 30 minutes the end of which saw the entire plateau littered with dead dragon babies and one dead dragon mama.
My sweet elf lady was a knight enchanter. Knight Enchanter is OP.
The kicker though... I still couldn't find that elven artifact... even after the huge ass dragon boss fight and the dragon baby genocide.
Solas... we need to talk about your direction giving skill.
AHAAAAA!
Wait, that isn't Solas with the orb.
Look at the second url, right drawing.
The figure that is shown later with the orb is there when Andraste's been captured, and he definitely is human, plus! He looks nothing like the Shartan in the first drawing
Edit:
Also I think the right man in the right mural in the second url is Shartan?
Shartan in the first one has a very distinct hood and stuff, and as you say is present in the one with the stocky bald dude in what is that. Mosaic-plaid? Gross. Anyway, that figure actually looks sorta dwarven to me. I don't think it's Shartan.
And I don't think Solas is Shartan either. At least I hope he isn't. The bald thing and rebellion thing is a thread, but if ya'll are going for that stretch, I'll go for another. in DAO, Shartan's ghost had medium armor on. That made him a rogue. Not a mage. So there.
Anyways, If he were Shartan, and who knows who else, then I suspect DA4 would be Solas-narrated from a park bench. We'd see how he was not only a demi god and a pivotal figure in the Andraste conflict, but he was also a shrimp boat captain who met the president and fought in Vietnam. I agree with Bubbledncr. Making him be part of every important event in elven history would take away from his charm and mystery. It wouldn't add to it.
Im just saying all the speculation is so much fun!
True or not.
Well, that part is definitely fun. My post count is shooting like a rocket.

Oh, that's dreadfully ironic. I was just there yesterday, doing this very same thing.
It's there. It's just a bag of dicks to get to.

So then who was
phonelittle bald man.
Corypheus?
I'm pretty sure that THIS

is meant to depict the Disciple Havard stealing away with Andraste's ashes. The object in his hand appears to be some type of urn, with a lid. The man himself appears to be a rather stout human fellow.
I know we're looking for Fen'Harel/Solas everywhere now, but this is way more likely to depict Havard.

Hahahaha XDXD
That happened to me too (on the previous PT), I managed to run though.
Corypheus?
Wouldn't Coryphilis be before Andraste's time? I am so mixed up timeline wise right now.
Here is what I'm trying to say:
There are owls... THERE ARE OWLS!
*runs away screaming*
Falon'Din has found me. *scccrreeeeaaaaaammm*

Its ok, put this tinfoil on your head. Falon'Din can't read your thoughts that way.
And, Ser_Lurk, I do believe you may be correct.

Thank you for bringing reason. I love you, person I don't know.

Obviously, I don't want him to be Shartan, it'll.. ****** me off >_>
We're mainly speculating here, I'm actually trying to find evidence against Solas being Shartan more than his being :<
I was taking pictures in the Temple of Mythal and that other Temple (forgot the name) earlier, some pretty creepy stuff among that...
Maybe someone with more lore knowledge can make some sense of it?

Ooo
Thank god you exist.
I'm barely familiar with Andraste, it wasn't a part of the lore that interested me.
Makes sense
Seriously, though. Solas is already Fen'Harel. What more does he need stacked upon his character? We don't need another Fiona...
And Solas's character already has enough drama as it is.
It's not such a strange idea to me. He and Mythal are very old and we already know that Flemeth has gone through multiple bodies. Maybe Solas changed his name a few times and was different people and nobody knew the connection. In the end, he is a "god" so that pretty much is the highest he can go. Any other craziness makes sense with that context. They've already reached the tippy top of the tower if you ask me. Solas being the Maker himself would be one of the only things more ridiculous. ![]()
Besides, Solas apparently was asleep for 1000 years so it's not like he was literally everybody important ever and involved in every historical event. He missed a heck of a lot. Flemeth is more likely for all that noise.

Case closed. Nothing to speculate here, folks.

Yes he is... It could've been a disciple or.. I dunno. Who got the orb from Solas (seeing it seems Cory never saw Solas).
Anyhow,
But after Ser_Lurk replied I'm feeling way better ![]()
I can go with 'urb' instead of 'orb'
I want to like so many of everyone's posts right now, but I can't as I'm out of likes. So I'll just have to post how much I love this thread! ![]()
This mass panic over Solas/Andaste/Shartan/Mythal/Everyone has just really cheered me up in the weirdest way today!

Spoiler
I saw some pictures like this in Crestwood (where the Wyrms are)...
The last one seems to be a red Templar??? With crying/mourning/dead elves?
But these drawings seem to be old. Why would there drawings for red templars?
There's also a picture of a lizardman in the temple of Mythal. Very unusual.

uuugggghh
It wasn't as creepy when I was playing it

I may have a save during the Temple of Mythal, maybe I can get better screenshots.
