The astrological correspondence for this card is Virgo and the number 9 signifies accomplishment, wisdom, the attainment of goals, as well as the search for truth.

Also Bioware has totally gone against its own lore a bazillion times. Retcons everywhere. Man my human mage is going to be totally pissed off if Solas would sleep with freaking Andraste and not with her.

 

I don't see why you guys think that he slept with her. It was rumored that he was her lover. BUT it could have just been that they were very close. If he had watched her grow up in her dreams, it's more likely that he just cared for her a lot. 

 

More than likely that was a way to sl*t shame her because she was a powerful woman. Much like Mythal, he just cared for her a lot.

I don't see why you guys think that he slept with her. It was rumored that he was her lover. BUT it could have just been that they were very close. If he had watched her grow up in her dreams, it's more likely that he just cared for her a lot.

I believe the implication of Shartan being her lover was meant to directly insult Celene, who had an elven lover. I can't remember if there is another reference to them possibly being lovers?

I think poor Andraste would probably have enough to contend with having a triangle with the Maker and Matherath along with trying to win a war. Bella Swan ain't got nothin' on her.

His mouth is covered (keeping secrets) = Dirthamen

Halla on the staff = Ghilan'nain

Fire = Sylaise

I can't express how ridiculous this would be and how it would really change my view of Solas - and not for the better.  Also, it's too much squishing several characters into one.  Keep Shartan and Solas separate.  Please.  He already has 2 sides to him.  It's not necessary to keep adding more on.

Bacon. The answer is the lower right symbol. Solas makes Halla bacon using magic fire from Sylaise, which he shares to night owl Mythal and daywalker Elgar-nan. Dirthamen is insistent on wanting the secret to Solas Halla bacon, but his lips are sealed.

The main thing holding me back about Solas=Shartan is that there's nothing actually in the game that suggests he's him, only art assets and a design doc which I'm not sure I can take as completely canon. Solas doesn't show much interest in Andraste, only to perhaps speculate that there could very well be a maker. We also know that the game implies very heavily that Andraste had nothing to do with the Inquisitor's survival. 

 

There's the fact that both freed the slaves...but we don't actually know Solas freed the slaves. It is our assumption based on the things he says and how important removing Lavellan's markings seems to be to him. But for all we know he could have sealed the elven gods to stop the spread of lyrium corruption, or because he thought that he could manage things better than they did. We don't know enough about Fen'Harel to really pin down what he did or didn't do. 

 

Same with Mythal.

Possibly! But he seems fairly legitimate when he says it. If you get max disapproval, he goes off on a ranting tangent. He seems too happy to be proven right about his preconceptions about humans to be lying. 

 

And then in the friendship dialogue, he seems to be quite honest when he admits he might have been wrong.
