First off, wow, I had to catch up on around 30 pages... you guys are prolific these days.
There is so little Abelas smut romantic literature out there as it is... *miserable sigh*
And I am so thankful to be around friends in this thread. My sexuality has been (male) elf since 1976, and I have just now, at this very moment, owned it.
EDIT: Oh, oh! Here's an idea for an ancient-elf-friend-thing! What about Cillian? He shows up in Skyhold. I'd advise playing him a bit in multiplayer to get a good idea of his personality, though, or just having him in your group. He's a sweetheart who loves ham and once had a garden where he grew a lot of cabbages.

Don't give up hope just yet. (And yes, I know about Cillian and I adore him, I like to play him and the archer in multiplayer because they're both just so nice!) While I don't write smut, I haven't yet decided how Solas and Lavellan will be resolved, other than there will be closure in some form or another. While she might not romance Abelas if things don't work out with Solas, she's been running around with Abelas and Cole in her party for a while, so... wouldn't be that strange if they kept one another company, at least.
Is Morrigan Flemeth's biological daughter? In the first game I thought she wasn't and Flemeth had just adopted her (perhaps stole her away, found her, or saved her) I mean the age difference seems pretty big and I thought there was a dialogue where Morrigan mentions being taken in...perhaps not. Inquisition had me questioning if he were biologically related because they both have the same exact eye color, and it's a unique eye color at that.
Were Ghili..Ghi'ilgivhjdg...ah never mind, the Halla Goddess and Andruil lovers? I thought I read that somewhere but can't be sure.
Actually Morrigan may indeed be Flemeth's biological daughter. There is a theory that she may have been conceived on the night when Flemeth pulled aside Maric for a private chat, which Maric then never wanted to speak of. We never found out precisely what was said, or what they did. So, if you did make Alistair do the Dark Ritual, Kieran may be the child of incest. If the Dark Ritual wasn't disturbing enough for you, before, well... Enjoy!
Oh wow, those paintings are really weird...
I'm guessing the red stuff might really be red lyrium?
Also, nekkid elf butts

Notice something about the bottom right halla? I mean there is the red of corruption or blood magic, but, inside of it there are people... I think there's something to that. Will discuss at the end of this post.
Also has no one else noticed the winged hart has extra legs, too? It's like a deer version of Sleipnir crossed with Pegasus. The head and neck look more like a horse's than a deer's, too!
I wonder if all the weird creature art has something to do with Ghilan'nain?
Edit for second half of the elven art:

Unsure, but is that second creature down a dragon?
I actually had a dream last night where Allan, he who would grace this thread in the past, posted to tell us that there would be no Solas in any upcoming DLC.
I really need to stop reading these forums before bed.
... I miss Allan.
Wonder what he's up to these days?
Right, back on my halla theory...
You guys may want to hold off on the halla bacon. I avoided killing them as much as possible (they tend to get in the crossfire) because canonly, the Dalish view them as their brethren, their kin. After all, the Dalish believe that Ghilan'ain turned into a halla.
Well, I don't think she turned into a halla, but I think she might have turned other people into them (notice the huge halla with downcast people/slaves? in it in one art pic). It isn't just that the halla can only be tamed by befriending them, or that they are apparently super-smart and understand things most animals can't, or even that the halla keeper in DAO seemed to be able to speak to them somehow. I think the halla are actually honest-to-goodness people, slaves who were turned into beasts to serve Ghilan'nain, possibly also to serve as an intelligent sort of prey for Andruil's hunts.
Really wish there were a way to avoid killing halla entirely but there just isn't, they get stuck in the crossfire and they die.
It's not canon for a Dalish to kill them, unless she just doesn't agree with Dalish beliefs.
But yeah, until it's confirmed that halla aren't actually people (or weren't sometime in the past), I am totally not eating 'em. (Besides, Lavellan is Dalish and that'd be like eating her sisters and brothers... Halla aren't livestock, or pets to the Dalish, they are friends. Gross, seriously!)
