I don't know, but with Solas I kind of feel like he shaved his head, like in penance for what he did?  That makes sense to me for his character...I can totally see him just shaving those dreds while staring mournfully into an eluvian or something. You know, while Needle in the Hay plays?  hahahah I'm the worst.

I know I am super late to this thread, but I just finished Inquisition with a Solas romance. I managed to avoid the boards for the whole month it took me to complete it. I'd had my suspicions about Solas and to see them proven right at the end was amazing!

I know other love interests apparently get more scenes than solasmancers do. Even when its just interacting with others besides the Inquisitor, Solas is off on his own and remains uninvolved. But it makes sense to me, since he's trying to not get attached to us all, for now obvious reasons.

Was really hoping we'd get a final dream sequence or something though when we retired for the night at the end of the game. Or a goodbye note. Something. That was the only thing I felt was missing.

Can't wait to see how they continue this man's storyline in DLC/XPACs. Especially how they incorporate the romance. (Cus we are definitely not done. lol)

Here's hoping for Witch Hunt/Lair of the Shadowbroker levels of romance content. Or more!

I remember something about his baldness reflecting his wisdom and age, but with other elves - it's a little disturbing.

And then I talked to Blackwall and he provided an excellent contrast between the two of them.

 

 

Blackwall thinks very highly of Solas. I love their interactions. Bringing Blackwall to the Exalted Plains and hearing him talk about how he hopes the elves will have a home some day really endeared me to him. Not sure I'm ever gonna romance him, but I do like him.
