Alright guys, I have a serious question.  I swear I am not fishing for compliments or anything.

 

I have been typing up a story.  It wasn't initially for sharing and just my own enjoyment.  It's mostly a character study and a study on magic and the Fade.  However set around Solas/Lavellan core.  Should I share it?  There's so much fiction out there already that I wanted to know if it was worth posting. 

 

I don't know.  I'm struggling to decide and I love you guys.  I know you'll tell me the truth.

 

I say post it! I am currently posting my story here. At first, I was worried about it too. But then people told me they wanted to read it, so I've been making posts when a new chapter is available for reading

You can't romance anyone after the Solas incident.

Hot damn! All these beautiful elven men makes me want to roll a male Lavellan. Maybe I'll romance Dorian or Josie with him if ever I get down to it.

That last part about everyone he cared for dying... assuming that the theory is true, that does not bode well for Lavellan (or any Inquisitor that's friends with him).

Didn't the Justinia spirit thing say that the Anchor/Mark is part of the Inquisitor now, and cannot be removed without the Inquisitor's death?
I wonder if that might play a part in future content?

Nope-- the game only records you as being committed to Solas when he breaks up with you.

No, after he breaks up with you, you can't.  That's the moment he also locks in, so... many of us are hopeful there will be something more to come.  Otherwise, that's a particularly cruel spot to suddenly decide the romance is locked in.

Personally,I think the only romance worth it are Solas and Cullen... (for girls (with boys)). But I'm kinda tired of Cullen.

My favorite thing about the Cullen romance is that when you get back from the final quest, he gives you a big hug in front of everyone when you're greeting your advisers and everyone's cheering. 

 

And now that I've beaten the game while in a Solas romance and another romance, I gotta say....I like the Solas/lonely Inquisitor ending better. The epic music while you look out at the mountains by yourself feels a lot better than Cullen hugs to Thedas love song...

You can start a romance with Cullen after Solas breaks up with you in the glade, I think.

By the way, does anyone have a good deconstruction of elven resource or should I make a pet project of ripping into it?

 

I don't want to waste my time if a good one exists already.  The wiki is a decent dictionary, but it lacks sentence construction and verb conjugation.  The only resource I have found has not been updated since 2012.

 

I'm not saying I would excel at this, but I know a few languages and I loooooooove me some puzzles.  Besides it would harken back to my old highschool days of teaching myself elvish ... oh dear god, did I just admit that.

You can only start a romance with anyone after Solas if your Levellan chooses the "</3" dialogue choice.  Otherwise, you're stuck with non-closure for FOORRREEVVVVVVEEERRRRR... or until DLC is released (team optimism, go!)

Eh, I didn't like my lonely Inquisitor ending but that's probably all because of crushing disappointment.

"Solas, where are you?"
"I'm waiting"
"I'll wait forever"

Plus, doesn't your Inquisitor smile at the end? No Lavellan, you are crushed, body and soul, no smiling!
