Well, I can speak from experience that many devout Cullenites abandoned Cullen when they met Solas. That saucy wolf!

I'm going to assume the difference in body type that Solas has compared to other elves is that he's like 100000000 years old and maybe back then they had more to eat.

Most of the Cullen group is filled with excellent people who are awesome in every way. 

 

There are a lot of people there, though, and when lots of people gather together and topics run out, drama ensues. I was sent nasty anon emails saying I wasn't wanted in that thread so I left.

 

I may have been a bit too much for a lot of them though. I never really curbed what I said, and I felt free to let people know when I thought they were being stupid.

 

I try not to do that now.

 

I didn't even think I'd come back to the bsn except I found you guys. And nobody from here has told me I wasn't welcome yet, so I'm pretty content.

Specialization update, I just got the dialogue after unlocking KE, the interesting thing is..I kinda gave in to the fade tongue first, so it ldefinitely looks like completing All New... (which I haven't), eff's it up.  Edit: fade tongue as in first romance scene, so yeah...we speculated about it being the second that locks it out and well, I suppose I can confirm it..maybe? Edit again: What on earth did it think I was trying to say? Yeah ok the other word for boobs, me and my typo's...

Oh, I was just in the storm coast at the red templar stronghold and Solas mentioned that "let's not linger here" line again some of you got earlier in emprise du lion, so I'm quite sure that it has something to do with the red lyrium and not the elven god statues.

Yeah I always rushed and did All New... because ya know, snogs... but I had a mission to unlock KE asap, I did it before anything else after getting Skyhold.  I quite like the dialogue actually, in my Lavellan's head she's an Arcane Warrior...she's taking it back from the bloody chantry!

Just finished Winter Palace again and I've got to say Solas in that quest is just sooooooooooooo damn hot. Not sure if it is because of alcohol or being back in court. I love how he sounds bolder... showing a bit of younger Fen'Harel i suppose.

And I just love the way he asks Lavellan to dance   ( that "dance with me"        except his hat

can't help imagining if young Fen'Harel met Lavellan in old elvhen court, how he'd hunt her down

I haven't started her yet and so now I don't know if I want to play mage again or go with archer. Ugh.

That hat is an abomination.  All modding efforts need to be directed at removing that hat from the game and deleting it from our collective memories.

 

EDIT: If they could fix the clipping issues, I think the option of just "stay with me for a bit" is so cute.

If you choose that option do you still get a dance? didn't try it since I don't want to go over the whole cut scenes.

I don't think the majority of the wolf statues in the game are intended to be Fen'Harel himself, but it is a pretty nice foreshadowing point that you've been surrounded by wolves since the beginning. Wolves are the symbol of the Inquisition, at least as far as Solas is concerned. You're his little pack.

I liked the cuddling choice better but he seem to really like the ball so I'd feel bad if I didn't dance with him.

Yep, exactly that sort of drama that turned me off Cullen, and some of that drama spilt onto tumbler, and DeviantArt. Which turned me off even more..I'dsay it was almost as bad as the Miranda thread drama..(which saw the entire character/romance subsection of ME3 forums shut down).

Just about how the techniques are Elven, and he tells you all about Arcane Warriors if you ask him, three approval bumps, it seems a bit crap that it's so easy to get approval bumps borked by something like completing his personal quest *sigh*. But I said that I hoped they'd be proud that one of their own was still using the techniques, he said he hopes so too. I was never going to have an Elven KE because of the chantry ties, it always made me feel a bit weird, I don't like playing circle mages, but seeing it as Lavellan taking it back from them as AW in headcanon makes me feel a bit better.

Yep, exactly that sort of drama that turned me off Cullen, and some of that drama spilt onto tumbler, and DeviantArt. Which turned me off even more..I'd almost say it was as worse as the Miranda thread drama..which saw the entire character/romance subsection of ME3 forums shut down..

 

I'm still annoyed that they shut down an entire forum section because of one thread, the mods could have actually done their jobs instead using the ol' burn it and salt  the earth tactic.
