I also rather like that Dalish elf you recruit from the camp in the plains. My Lavellan is not likely to rebound onto anyone, but I would think they might have a bit in common.

I'd love if the first time Solas sees Lavellan again she's chatting up a strapping, attractive Dalish hunter. Solas gets all flustered even though he wants to be happy Lavellan is moving on because it hasn't been that long and Lavellan seems very close to the Hunter.

My Lavellan's not likely to rebound either, at least for a while, but I like picking on Solas from time to time. I feel like it evens out the hundreds (or maybe even thousands) of IRL hearts he broke with his stupid sexy shenanigans.

I wouldn't consider it a rebound for my Lavellan, I would consider it growing up, because I do equate Solas to that one guy who has so many personal problems that he's just bad news and it would never work out.

Not to mention Cullen, but *that* would seem to me like he's a rebound since he's been there the whole time -- also I'm not sure she'd go for a full-blooded human.

I know that we all love that Solas is a god and eternal and stuff (I do too), but I think I would be happy if how we end up with solas was just really simple.
Just you two end up living mortal lives. He gives up on trying to help all the time (because he always makes it worse). The only way to break the cycle is to just let the past go and be together and be happy. Like in some random hut somewhere being "apostate" mages.
I mean we all fell in love with an apostate mage, not the dread wolf. So I think it would be the most romantic to settle down with a man and not a god.

I agree. The joke I was making earlier to do with immortality etc was mostly in jest of potential reasons for Solas' race gating. I personally would love it if they could just be normal.

I definitely agree. The thought of being with a "god" gives me the willies.
My Lavellan will never move on. After Solas leaves..she and Cassandra eat lots of ice cream, read romance novels and go shopping together. After Cass becomes Devine...she does all those things with Dorian. Her nights she spends sleeping on Solas' couch..she hasn't slept in her room since. She goes to fancy balls and dances only with Cullen or Dorian because they know...they know.

There are rare occasions where I want to kiss other women. This is one of those occasions, because if you were standing in front of me that is what I would do to you. I like the man more than the god (and he said it himself that he and the others aren't actual literal gods), and an ending where he loses his immortality either by his own choice or his actions would be very compelling to me. The latter, where his actions cause him to lose the powers that made people think he was a god, could bring potential for the ending to be both bittersweet and happy in the sense that he an Lavellan could live a mortal life together. Since he's male and older, assuming Lavellan survives into old age, he likely wouldn't have to die alone.

As much as it pains me to say, if our Levellan can't have that "rainbows and unicorns" happy ending with Solas, then let the girl MOVE ON. Kthxbai.

I don't know if I'd care for a normal relationship. I feel like my Lavellan is attracted most to the idea of accomplishing something- which she was doing with Solas. Saving the world. Helping people. Otherwise she would have had a sweetheart back at clan Lavellan. She wouldn't want him to give up who he is just so they can dwindle their lives away and be in love. And that's not even knowing who he really is.
I don't see him as a god. But I do think he has the power to accomplish much. As does Lavellan. I tend to prefer, in my ideal sort of ending, something a bit more ambiguous. I don't want either of them to have to change who they are to be happy.

I meant normal as in not having Lavellan become an immortal just to be with him. Normal as in what they were already.
