Romance Cullen.  That's what I've been doing this playthrough.   It's really a mature and deep romance, IMO.  I made a human to take the leap from Solas and I don't regret giving Cullen a chance.

i totally know what you're feeling. idk about anyone else but i really love spoilers bc i feel better knowing what i'm in for rather than discovering it for myself and DYING. 

 

i wanna wait until dlc comes out that makes or breaks their relationship so i know if its worth the angst but at the same TIME i wanna spend 100 hours on dragon age. im here for u

I do not think Solas is going to fall off a cliff or anything like that, but do you remember synthesis ending in ME3? It's sweet, realistic, but so very bitter. One of the reasons it's so good, in my opinion, I wouldn't be happy with my Shepard living happily ever after with Garrus and bunch of adopted little krogans somewhere tropical.

Sadly I did Cullenmance on my first PT. And it was glorious. Ties with Garrus for my favorite Bioware romance arc. I have even tried dumping Solas to go running to Cullen.

Playing Diablo III with friends to take my mind off it. When I think about playing DA:I I feel sick. Genuinely need some kind of closure before I go back to it again.

"Not yet"  Bah, it's just like Garrus made it with Shepard to the Citadel, Thane isn't dead, and Fenris didn't let Hawke leave without him and they're both in the Fade together alive. Solas and Quizzy will be together at the end of this.

I boarded the Solas angst train with a good suspicion of what I was getting myself into.  No regrets only paiiiin, horrible paiiiinn.

So...this isn't related to Solas, but it does have an Zevran, Teagan, and Valen from Neverwinter Nights. That sort of counts, right? There were some Fenris pictures from Louvette several pages back, so I figured people might be ok with seeing more. The models aren't quite as sharp as her later stuff though.

I can't make head or tails from the first line. He mentions being "real" in other dialogues but it appears to have a different meaning there. Sometimes it is "real" as in "different than expected", sometimes "real" as in "not a spirit", it's confusing.

 

Looking at the last two lines.... The "walk in solitude forever" part seems to refer to him thinking he'll be either the only immortal one left (because all the others will be dead) or the only immortal one with his destiny (guarding the gods while they're sealed away? Which I think is more likely. It seems to refer to an ongoing duty). I don't think he thinks he's going to die at all.

 

Probably because the first is a line from Cole, dabbling into Solas's mind. I don't get it 100% it either. My general impression is that Solas's feelings for her is making the world more real to him, people more real, maybe even himself more "real" in the mortal world. And for whatever he needs to do, it can't be that sort of real.
