Hoping this year will bring us some lovely Dragon Age DLC! I'm trusting that no matter if it's Solascentric or not that it'll be awesome!
Though our Wolf Hunt DLC would be best
Anyway, everybody have a lovely New Year. Be safe and enjoy the celebrations! (Or just stay in and hang out on the Solas thread like me!)

He says that he doesn't blame him because as a Qunari he's a mindless, soulless drone who can't make decisions. Yeah.
And the tradition of me wanting to turn around and punch my companions during banter continues. I know quizzy can chime in from time to time, but I would rather like a "Shut up or I'll turn this Inquisition around" button. Solas is nowhere near as vicious as Anders could be, but he's still pretty snippy.
Or Aveline's DON'T sign, that would work too ![]()

My Levellen...Halinia Levellen started alone in this world and ended alone. That really fitted her character since she was my cold and detached character...but then she fell for Solas and was left broken. So those walls are even higher before and probably will never come down again, not even for Solas. NOW I FEEL LIKE WRITING!
Yeah, a relationship between two guarded somewhat distrusting people usually doesn't end well.

So, Team Optimism, how would you feel if it is revealed that Fen'Harel is only hitching a ride in Solas' body? Would you still love him if Fen'Harel left his body and all you had left was a very confused apostate with very thin memories of a woman (Lavellan) that he loved at some point?
Yeah, I'd go for it. Team Moving On approves.
I'm not a big fan of dualism, and it seems from Flemeth's experience that the personality is the same (that's my interpretation) even if parts of the power get distributed out. So I'm pretty sure Solas is Solas, an integrated personality. He's already lost most of his power, and it doesn't appear to have affected his personality (not that we really know), so even if he lost all his god power I think he'd still remain who he is.
It seems more likely to me that we could meet him in a shapeshifted form, possibly. A dragon or some such.

Yeah, it won't change anything for me. My Lavellan will love whoever is Solas. I'm hoping Fen'Harel and Solas are one and the same, but I just want the dominant personality in that lovely body -- whoever he is.
Edit: It also won't make sense to me that Fen'Harel's leaving would remove Solas' memories.

You'd think so but back in the bad old days of Legacy BSN Maria Caliban pointed out with corroborating research that the cheeses and bread Merrill kept in her house in DA2 were consistent with common high protein and fat nomadic diets. That in mind I can also cite sources* of nomadic civilizations both ancient and modern with a vegetarian diet consisting mostly of nuts, fruits, and vegetables. When living off the land its easier to gather food than hunt it and even easier if you're on the move and not depleting a regions resources by settling in it.

Haha, I stand corrected then.
I was thinking about the Northern Inuits when I posted. I know that they followed migration patterns of caribou, but didn't have the plant options that warmer regions like the ones that the Dalish live in would have.
Still, I don't think the Dalish were above roasting hugs over the fire pit
On this somewhat related note. For those that imported Dalish Wardens is there any mention of the Dalish who settled at Ostagar? I hope they're doing well...

That makes me very sad. I wish they wouldn't have given us the options if they weren't going to have any effect.
I would have loved for Sera or someone to have mentioned Bann Shianni of the Denerim Alienage for my play through.
Huh, so sad.

Woo. That was a fun card game.
And the results are: InquisitorBrass lost by a close 1 point to Bliss, who apparently cheated the RNG to get the best
schematicscards.
Must do again some time, great fun!
