So I found some ancient Elven art in the Emerald Graves where the Emerald Knights once guarded a sacred temple. Connecting some of them meanings and I may be on to something.

Is that the secret to the downfall of Arlathan? An elf was born with a butt that was just. . . too sculpted? Shapely enough to topple an empire?
Lol I did not know what effects my screenshots would have, but I can't say I am not surprised by the reactions I see! Lol, but I actually do have a rough theory I am trying to concrete.
So in my first pic you can see several elven individuals and two rings located above the left and right side of them, at first I thought they were the Emerald Knights but then I thought that perhaps they were the Creators and the Forgotten Ones. And that the two rings above each side were two orbs that each set of gods owned. Now we know Solas had one orb and that Mythal appeared so let's say that there are two orbs then if Mythal appeared he took the orb that belonged to her and all The Creators...which released those gods while leaving The Forgotten Ones in their respective domain.
So I am still going about trying to find further evidence to support my theory, any thoughts?
Btw it is amazing how many wolf statues, and murals there are in this game...Bioware was hinting hard to Solas' true identity, lol! I knew they already were in my second PT...but the sheer number of hints...

What if Solas decided he couldn't be happy because he has done much wrong and THAT is the reason why he doesn't allow himself to forget all and stay with his beloved Lavelan ? Because as he says "he should pay the price" for what he did.

Don't pull an Isabela, lol! I suggest investing in some schematics...the battlemage armor is the best imo. Although you can get Keeper Robes in the Exalted Plains by looting a ruin with a glyph inside it. Or you could go to Emprise Du Lion and beat the three dragons to get the Keeper Robes schematic and Battlemage Armor,
I don't know what this has to do with Solas, but there is a baby wolf in this video and the entire thing is so flippin cute.

Can someone help me with my Solas romance? I wanted to be sure I was on the right track.

[spoilers]So far, I've completed Adamant, but not yet the Winter Palace mission. I've never had any option on the dialogue wheel prompt me to officially start a romance with him, so I'm wondering if it's actually happening. (I got that for Cullen in my first playthrough.) Sera has already commented on us being together during party banter and Solas has called me "his heart," or something like that, when I've gone and talked to him at Skyhold.
I think my last cutscene with him that was romance oriented was when we talked on my balcony about what I was like before I got the anchor. I had an option to flirt with him after completing Adamant, but nothing happened really. Also, I thought his tarot card was supposed to change, but it's the same one he's had all game, the one of him wielding a little flame over his hand all hooded and hedge-magey.
Did I mess anything up, or is this how it's supposed to go, so far? Also, please don't spoil anything that hasn't happened for me yet. I realize Solas leaves at the end of the game (this is my 2nd playthrough), so it's obvious he won't be around when my main campaign is over, but I don't want to know anything else specifically. You don´t actually lock in the romance until after "What Pride Has Wrought" But you´ll still get romance content like the dance etc. so nothing´s wrong

It sounds like you're on the right track. The final romance scene occurs after the Temple of Mythal. That's when the romance locks in and when the tarot card changes.

I think we will certainly have more scenes with Solas that are tied to his romance, or at the very least special lines/ending. I believe PW will make sure of that or I hope he will! So I say keep hope...but keep it contained so if nothing comes of it then you won't be as disappointed. That is how I am with things like this.
I suggest bringing a KE or being a KE...and bring Cass if she is your Tank. I just killed them about an hour ago for a third time and that was with Cass, Cole, and Solas. I was a KE so that simplified things to the point of where I did not have to worry about my PC if I played as Cole to deal some damage to those beasts.

Yes, I believe so that is...regardless that is the safe route to go! I do know if you do not flirt with him in the scene before Skyhold then you are locked out of the romance for the rest of the game...dammit Cullen and your ninjamancing....

Nah,everyone gets that scene regardless,although you´ll have to kiss him, but I got the option to do that with my Cullen romancing Lavellan despite never having flirted with Solas before.

Same here! I became a Solas convert immediately after this scene.

So I know who you guys will tell me who I should choose for my Canon Romance...but I need help because I am truly torn between three romances...Solas' romance, Cassandra's romance, and Cullen's romance are all really great imo and I can't choose which should be my Canon Romance...

That's interesting. I think someone else said the same. I'm too chicken and have taken the safe route on both of my playthroughs, but I almost wanted to test it...because if Solas will go all fade-tongue without prior flirting it makes it seem like he was always interested in her...
Also, ancient elves are great. Imagine the pounding of my heart when I found a whole temple of them. That Abelas amirite? Every game should have an ancient elf lover now. I might be ruined for anything else. Like a postcard from Paris when you've seen the real thing.

Cass and Cullen have no tears. Solas has an ocean of tears. all are very good. depends on your taste
