I dont actually know why people are thinking about him having his Calling ... what do you know when he joined the Wardens? .. it could have been 15 years ago for example ... he would still have 15 years before his Calling .. you can never know from his look ... you can say: ,, he was warden-constable before the blight, no chance for him to get on this position within just 5 years'' ... well shut up your warden became commander in a year

I think it was later "clarified" (heh) that it's thirty years maximum. The average, if I'm remembering correctly, is ten years. If you partake the Joining during a Blight, you live a significantly shorter amount of time.

Solas possibly being a student of Felassan is another interesting one. But yeah, Solas could turn out to be completely unrelated. It's fun to speculate tho.
