Burn Gorman would also continue the trend of picking up GoT actors, since we know Gwendoline Christie will have some role.First Gwen and now Ianto. I hope the next Dragon Age game keeps up this tradition of having Doctor Who/Torchwood actors in the game.

Yeah. Sorry I made only one comment and then seemingly dropped off into oblivion. Been busy, busy.
I don't know if anyone will agree, but I think us Solas fans have it pretty good. I mean, we have a confirmed voice actor. *gushes* I remember waiting (impatiently, I might add) for his character page to pop up. I was thinking, "Everyone forgets about Solas. He's like the Ringo of the Inquisition."
I've never watched Torchwood but I've heard of it and looked at some clips to get a feel for his voice. Noice. Very noice. heehee.
Anyway, I noticed Ianto is a pretty popular character which must mean he is the funny and charming sort. I also saw that the character was gay (or was it bi? Someone who's actually seen the show can correct me on this) Does the choosing of an actor of a well-liked character have any reflection on who they voice. Like, did someone casting say, "Solas reminds me of Ianto because of X,Y, and Z. Wouldn't that be cool to cast him?"
Just a thought. Ignore me, if you wish.

I'm still listening to some Gareth David - Lloyd videos mostly the Live questioning videos, and wow there is a lot of fangirling in those videos I can't even make out what he is saying in parts of them lol!

I listened to a few videos as well. To be honest I didn't even know the guy when he was announced, but when I found certain videos on him, I can honestly say that if Solas is bi Gareth will be able to execute the role of an intelligent bi male elf with a touch of sensitivity for those close to him. I cannot wait to hear more on Solas. Every bit of info just makes him that much more interesting to me.
Wow, so, Gareth David-Lloyd. He does have a very nice voice, and was very underrated on Torchwood, I thought. 'Adam' in particular I recall as a good one for him, well, relatively speaking... I would imagine he would do the "cool, calm, collected, clever elf" very well. Looking forward to this one!
