Let me tell you that getting drunk off cheap wine last night helped me a great deal. 

 

So did a massive cry that rivaled the tears shed over the end of the final Harry Potter movie.

 

I'm not encouraging you to drink your problems away btw. XD I was in some emotional distress and that cheap stuff was really ****** good.

 

 

I actually had a few rum-and-cokes after the break up.  Felt better.

I am confident that the romance will be touched upon by future DLCs, but it remains to be seen if an Demigods become of it.

It's just what I'm predicting.

Bioware is doing the end of the prior ages garbage trope in the series.

It's been present in all the games and they set Solas up to be a future antagonist...like Jake Wesker in Resident Evil.

So yeah, I'm expecting him to die, and the pc to be the one to do it.

Save the world and all that.

It's a literary device.

It evokes the easiest emotion in the consumer.

Master Warder Z_ isn't really a Solas thread person. He's not here for comfort. He may be right about Solas dying but I think it will probably be in the next game if it happens. He needs time to set up whatever he's doing and I'm not sure a big lore figure like Fen'Harel would bite it in a DLC.

It best be way more than 'touched upon'. I'd like something akin to ME shadowbroker dlc for Solas that reopens that damned chapter. Rather than 'oh tangent to another story PS here's a witchhunt for five minutes footnote' dlc. >.<

I think they'll get much more POSITIVE emotions from fans if they give him a happy ending, though.

Well, I'd argue that they just killed Flemath...

They may kill Solas eventually, but probably not in DLC or DA4

Well, considering what I remember from years ago after DA origins came out...they intend to continue the franchise in the world, not with the same main character each time. I think DA:I was the most eloquently done rendition of this goal, keeping the people that players personally got close to and still tying them in to major events quite well.

There's no reason that can't be done with the quiz and whoever she chose and/or Solas in a way that is on par with what they've already done with Hawk and the wardens.

 

AND there's no reason they can't offer a tragic DLC ending much like Warder Z describes, (if you don't side with solas for whatever moral reason) VS, offering a closure where you stay by Solas' side (if you do choose to support him no matter the outcome).

Because, frankly, that can lead to tragic endings, as well as choices the players wouldn't have expected to have made, but did for solas (trusting him because they don't know the whole story)... it can determine whether your quiz shows up later, or solas, or both for a role in things to come, too...as has been done with others.

All in all, I like the idea of MY dragon age world - not THE dragon age world...which I think is the beauty DA:I brought to the franchise.

My brain is cycling between warm, happy thoughts from reading fanfiction (I am down the "black hole" again) before swinging back to sad uncertainty of cannon future.  Dear god I need to get into a relationship with someone... I keep falling in love with characters.

Sometimes the RL relationships mirror fiction.. or vice versa
