I like Sera and mostly everyone really but what we all have in common is that we like Solas and that should be enough to promote respect and common ground between us all.

As for Sera. Speaking in tvtropes terms, she is The Foil to Solas. He is obsessed with the past and everything "elfy", while she couldn't care less. He is a mage, while she is freaked out by magic. He is fascinated by the Fade and everything related to it, while Sera finds it all extremely creepy. They are as much opposites as Anders and Fenris were in DA2, and yet (like A&F yet again) their stubborn clinging to their ideas makes them very alike (it's also likely to be at least partly a defence mechanism of sorts in both cases - Sera fears things she cannot understand so she distances herself from them, Solas is likely still in shock from seeing modern Thedas in all its glory).

 

It's also why I like having them both in my party, they have some hilarious banters

I adore their banters. A. HIlarious B. She is actually one of the only other people that makes Solas actually kind of lose his cool over.  Which is helpful to understanding him. 

 

Also, I'm coming to appreciate her more.  I actually feel bad for her...not like in the 'pity' way Solas does, but she is really struggling with herself. Trying to find what she believes in.  I don't think she outright thinks the elf stuff is full of ****. I think she's actually afraid it's real because it makes the world so much more complicated, more gray.  I feel for her.

Beside, going with the templars means havng a chance to save ser Barris.

He's fuunnn.  Goes all Disney Prince on you at the Winter Palace.  Swoon.  You can headcanon that Solas pines for you still as a human and make it this angsty unrequited love affair. I DO!

Maybe the reason Solasmancers didn’t get extra time with him is because had Solas spent ANY more time with the Inquisitor than he already did, he’d mess up and give everything away. I mean, this guy slips up a little bit when you’re his lover/friend as it is. Imagine if there was a “walk around holding hands kissing” option. Stupid nerd would had blurted mid-make out that he was the Dread Wolf and he loved you. For real.

You've really ought to experience the mission yourself instead of just watching it on youtube. Simply watching it does not do the mission justice.

Yes, it will have the Inquisitor assembling a team to find Solas including Merrill, Vivienne, a vaguely evil human played by Burn Gorman, and an impossibly suave qunari played by John Barrowman. It'll be what be what Halo: ODST was for Firefly but for Torchwood.

Lol, is the chantry paying you? I'm very pro Mage, I never sided with the Templars once in DA2.. perhaps one day, maybe with a non Mage, but I have trouble playing non Mages, only really because it's the class I have the most fun with. I don't really feel it with the others...it's complicated.
